The scene in the book is much better. Reacher speaks to the chopper pilot and asks if he flew the chopper the times when Langston killed his teammates. The pilot answers yes and Reacher personally executes him.
thats too hardcore in this scene. I think they executed it very well and translated it to the screen. You don't have the background internal mindset of the character (Reacher) in this scene so it would be too cruel in this moment. You know what i mean?
Funny I was thinking, what idiot came up with Fire in the hole term?? Now a days, fire in rhe hole can mean to much hot sauce on your food, coming out hot in your but hole
Odd choice for an 'anti aircraft' missile, an 84mm Carl Gustaf round that looked like it weighed about the right amount for the hollow plastic prop it was. Even funnier was the earlier scene where the propellent case had a little flap that opened, presumably to fit the magic chip into it, rather than into the projectile which might have made at least a tiny bit of sense.
I love this show, but they also use a recoilless rifle to send an unguided artillery shell to bring down a helicopter and the back blast would seriously injure all 3 standing behind Neagley
Which one, the chopper dude who was the pilot when people were being dropped out of the helicopter? Including their friend? Or the engineer who was deep enough into everything that the final deal was taking place at his house?
He flew the plane when they were going to kill his team he more then likely was the one on the stick when their brothers in arms were killed would you let him go
Great tv series.. artistic license?? Not everything you see needs to be factual.. but it has to look GOOD to keep audience interested.. Season 3 . And please a full season of 16 or more episodes. Fillers?? Nah you're just not a true aficionado of the Reacher story.. Finley and Roscoe please !!

If that engineer was actually "smart" he would've figured they'd do something like this since they had the launcher and ran on foot
I've been thinking the same ... all he had to do was close the door he entered and then go out the other side.... they wouldn't even know he'd escaped
Clear backblast! Rocket rocket rocket!
Yeah i just a pilot, a enginering, i have a family, i have a kids, blah blah blah blah
Reacher : and im just testing the weapon
Back in the day, we just called it a Charlie G. Firing it was great for curing a hangover...

I think he made such assumption in the show... in an investigation, assumptions kill. And let one of his friends do the honors.

the pilot dont know the differents of normal RPG & a Jav
they probably wanted to show the capabilities of this rocket launcher as it was the focus of the series
@@havok9001That's Carl Gustaf M3...but there's a guided missile ammo already IRL for the CG
Yet another cool thing Neagley gets to do while O’Donnell just watches on.
O'Donnell is almost scary as Reacher when motivated/pissed off.
The officers drinking beer while the enlisted work... 😂
Neagley and Carla’s faces just crack me up
Mom: “Reacher what are you going to do with that strength?”
Reacher: “The right thing.”
FLY ON, LITTLE
WING
That pilot’s day just kept getting worse
Definition of we were just following orders
That launcher loads like an old Karl Gustav.
It really is. And there's even a guided missile round for the Carl G
Neagley's my favorite character in the team. She's super cool
I believe the proper term is, "Backblast area...clear." "Fire in the hole" still gets you push ups. :D
I did wonder.
Funny I was thinking, what idiot came up with Fire in the hole term?? Now a days, fire in rhe hole can mean to much hot sauce on your food, coming out hot in your but hole
Get over it, no one cares.
The engineer didn’t have to leave.. its his property
Not anymore.
They got blowed up real good.
BORG!!
Great show if you've never read the books. Little Wing loads like a rifle. There wouldn't be a back blast when fired.
Yet they got the M3 Charlie G to do the honours. But still...for a recoiless rifle...and with a guided missile round in it😅
Me WOULD HAVE WALKED OUT THEN BEING A BIRD IN THE SKY
t think the official call is, "Clear backblast!"
Don’t hog the beer O’Donnell
So back blast isn’t an issue. Well that’s nice.
Badass scene 🤙

they were not behind her
You'd be surprised, just look up NLAW footage barely any recoil (I know its an anti tank weapon but still)
wasn’t in the script.
That's a Carl Gustav M4 84mm recoilless rifle. it does not have a round that performs like an air to air missile.
@@lamedame1213 I know what an 84mm backblast looks like, from experience. That's why there's virtually no recoil.
A Carl Gustav rocket launcher with guided munitions?
How does that even work?
They made a guided munition that it can use around a decade ago, I believe it can also be fired from an adapted AT4
The whole plot of the season revolves around these special guided rockets. Did you even watch the show
@@201hastings No. I've fired a Carl Gustav in real life. It's not capable of being a guided weapon.

That's why they waited until it was over the river.
@@michaelnadler596 How about a house boat?? Just asking!
I always keep wondering if they wanna say Little Wayne
Neagley can't touch anyone, but she can share a communal beer?
She doesn't have a problem with germs, touching skin to skin is her issue.
Yeah it’s not a germ thing. The books imply she has trauma from being abused as a kid.

I agree... They're changing too much from the books and reoccurring characters where there shouldn't be any is disappointing.
Why kill those two
Because they may look innocent being scared, but in the end they work for people who kills innocent people with no conscious.
