    Hi Alex! Jim from Madrid, Spain (a New Yorker expat living abroad in Spain).
    First of all... Love your videos. I like your sincerity and expressiveness! And your passion for 2 wheels!
    I'm a biker for the past 40 years of my life and... yes! As a young guy such as myself (at least at heart... 🤣😁✌) due to health issues I had to sell my bikes (an 800cc, a 1250cc and now my last one, a 60's 500cc). Doctors said I will never ride a bike again but, though difficult, I've managed to recover enough and I'm looking to get a 125cc scooter that's easy to maintain (cost effective) and that will help with my mobility again in an easy way.
    After watching your videos (as well as others) you have helped me to feel stronger on the idea and I really like your bike (your Symphony 200cc = to the Symphony 125cc here in Spain = hp + torque + motor, etc.).
    And... I enjoy your issues, travels, riding in snow, etc. very much!!!
    So... thank you for sharing your adventures and for helping me to get better, enough to want to ride again (due to my limitations, the Symphony allows me to manage physically to continue riding and even to be able to take care of the simple mechanics - maintenance checkups, etc.). BTW - I have several good Romanian friends here in Spain and my wife was over there for working purposes early this year and she loved the country - my wife is Spanish).
    I am a subscriber to your channel and will continue to watch it.
    Good luck with everything and Cheers from Sunny Spain!!!
    😁👍😎✌✌🏍🏍

      That's awesome and don't worry you can do everything I've done on my 200 on a 125cc symphony, they run the same, so go for it and get back on 2 wheels, never give up!!! ✌️✌️🤘🤘

    You are right about the service manuals but they don't exist at all for many new models. Usually there is just few pages of 'users/owners manual' with the bike. Unfortunately my symphony does not have one too.

      Yes for newer models yes that is a problem.

    Hi Alex, yet another informative video - Do you remember the dimensions of the new drive belt (781 20 30) or maybe the part number ?
    Did you upgrade the rollers to lighter or heavier ?

    Uuuh, that is FOAM. Here around, just some bubbles. And one coin allows only up to 30 seconds of foam.. 😅 Aaand you aren't exhausted by one minute of cleaning a scooter, aren't you? 🤣

    • @RideWithAlex
      @RideWithAlex  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, the lav mic is right in front of my nose and mouth and catches everything, even normal breathing sounds like I'm exhausted.

    Thanks Al. Good commentary 😁. You said about cleaning and different for liquid cooled radiator. Does this need to be covered when cleaning?

    • @RideWithAlex
      @RideWithAlex  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Just don't put the water jet too close to the radiator fins because they bend very easily, that's the only difference.

    My ST200 used to be smooth pulling away but is now quite rough. In the past this has been solved by replacing the rollers or the air filter. This time it's not worked though. I could change everything you listed though. Have u ever had that issue pulling away?

    • @RideWithAlex

      No, but a transmission inspection would be in order.

    Hello Alex , I’ve been watching your videos for sometime and i admire the passion that you have about SYM scooters. I’m quite tall guy at 188cm do you think that the symphony 200 will be the right fit for me ?

    Did the valves need adjusting or were they within spec? Thanks

    • @RideWithAlex
      @RideWithAlex  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Only the exhaust valve was a bit too tight, the intake valve was in spec

    • @exgtt2061
      @exgtt2061 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s good, the exhaust valve tightens slightly over time. Some inferior Chinese engines need adjusting constantly as the valve sinks due to poor metal quality. These Syms are great 👍
