I quit playing for a couple years and then came back to play a few days ago. It's like everybody is pro now. Every game I've played, people use coordinated and well-timed attacks, have a solid eco, use good unit combinations, and even know how to use their cannons right. It is very hard for me; the bar is set so high it seems impossible to become an exceptional player anymore because the average player today would be a pro if he could go back in time to when the game was released. It doesn't look like there is much room for creativity anymore because all the tactics have already been created and perfected to a very high degree. The best I could hope for now is to approach the perfection which seems to be totally average among the remaining player base now.
yea but same of AoE2, since Pro players have created perfect build orders its get even hard on middle high ranks, cause players start to learn and the skill bar gets high really fast. Other examples are Warcraft 2 and Starcraft 2
You should do what your favorite civilization says about you for AOE 2 and other games. I've only played 30 hours of AOE 3 but I still understood what you were referring to and the other games communities would be highly entertained by these kinds of videos.

If you want some quick fun while still having a game with some deep strategies and counters buy aoe3. If you want to spend a lot of money and play 6 hours in a row for something to actually happen buy civ 6
Same here. I have seperate decks for team battles, with usually around 4 team cards in it. Like the +10% faster mining in age1. I'm mainly a nr player around rank 13. Low rank lobbies see me as a god and rank 20+ don't allow me because I'm too low. Glad I got a 1v1 against a rank 22, who had a deck for 1v1 on that specific map -_-. Learned some stuff from that battle and the guy rated me as MS.
I personnaly don't play mp aoe3 (anxity problems) but i think the german heavy infantry tells you they are not taking the game seriously because while the unit is prety good against melee and buildings they are not good against cavalry or any high damage ranged unit

Bro my friends are realy real bad in aoe and i mean i destroy Them in a 1vs5 but when i watch Them play its fun becouse all on the same lvl and they dont play like meta or civ powers like France the op cav becouse he dont know about it and i can tell you that you just unluky when you go in Lobbys check there ACC like winrate played and shit so you dont get one who have 100 %winrate in like 50 games
Oprinchniks users are like the Joker... they just want to watch the world burn.
LOL
How do you do OOS?
Me and my brother have been playing a lot but I have never played on line before will I be able to?
Just go to Multiplayer and ESOnline :)
Sooo . Every so often i come back here. To bask in the immortalization of being the opening player in this video... Only to know, i will never whale again... This game you used as the example was so fun. And ive watched your video showing your side of it. Truly a masterclass in what i was doing back then. Lol pur ally was actually killed. Lol, not quit, but killed down to the man. You were shitting your pants trying to make population after your town kept being burned... Only to look at the sea... The glory of the 99 boats in under 7 minutes. Im pretty sure if memory surves me right i went full mercs with manlukes to turn the tide into imperial units coming from the coast... I miss my old game. Now.... I ruin every game i join. Zerg rush unto death! We play under 10s now since they took the whales. The fun ones are under 9minutes 4v4
After watching more of this video, I change my mind, Dad's more like The Captain.
Imperial Horse Artillery (I think that's the name) are my favorite.
-Suggestion for unit video.
Horse Artillery* dude

Ope, thanks!
@@Human_G You're welcome. Have a good day!
should i get civilizaion 6 or age of empires 3 plz respond quick because the sale for summer is going off soon
If you want some quick fun while still having a game with some deep strategies and counters buy aoe3. If you want to spend a lot of money and play 6 hours in a row for something to actually happen buy civ 6
So Id recommend aoe3 as you can have a little fun in between your day but also you can discover a real depth if you want to put some time in
Gladly i'm type of between Terrific and Noobs
Nice!
I remember back in the day i would only want to play on Caribbean, can’t remember why i liked that map so much lol!
Hahaha I love it!!
I personnaly don't play mp aoe3 (anxity problems) but i think the german heavy infantry tells you they are not taking the game seriously because while the unit is prety good against melee and buildings they are not good against cavalry or any high damage ranged unit
Very true!
Cool video ! That sort of contents are really enjoyable rather watching games all the time... I never played the Age3 online because i am "inexperienced"... People are attacking you personally when you say you are "inexperienced"... Thats really suck !!!
There's one type players also : Kikematamitos
What's that?
@@ChickyChac a mexican youtuber.
I haven't played since I was a kid maybe I will give it a shot

Thank you!!
Hey, could you make a revolution nation tier list?
What do you mean?
@@SamuraiRevolution
As in the AO3 war chiefs mechanic that lets you revolt in age 4
I think you forgot the General,
This guy thinks he plays total war and move "regiments" will not mix units and use complicated grand battle stratgy to win the day but some time end up losing, he claims the game is not realisitic enought and want a moral stats for units.. they are quite nice ...
The gentleman, this guy will pull back his armies if he think his opponent is too vulnerable... he just won't play without sportmanship, he won't attack civilians and will only destroy military building during an attack
I'm a fairly good player (can take up to four AI enemies on hard difficulty), but I have no experience in multiplayers matchs.
Are there any Discord servers or something were people get together to play? I want to see how good I actually am.
Also, I'd like to know if there's some kind of special setting or program or something for online matches.

Looking at this in 2024. Im a new player i mean new im now on my 4th siv playing one at a time trying against the AI now on hard mode with two more to go. Ive no idea what i am doing many times but learning by watching all the videos when not playing. i only going online when i know more
I just started aoe 3 is there any tips that can help
You can join our discord. We have new players you can play with! But make villagers constantly (except when aging) and focus on playing one civ until you are comfortable with them. Try Brits!
Dude last night I saw you play a scenario how was that?
It took too long, I had to leave, but it was cool. Forest nothing
@@SamuraiRevolution if you did enjoy that and want a totaly new experience(possibly lag) i would sugest trying a risk custom scenario one time
@@lukeborst2751 I will for sure...just been very busy atm!
Hi guys, I'm a noob, srsly, I love this game way back in my elementary days and now as a college student I'm playing it again, and I wanna learn how to play in multilayer, do you have any basic tips or helpful video links for stats or dos and don't, thanks
i am a pretty new player and never played multiplayer but i dont feel like doing after this video XD
Ahhh... The Great Plains = The Arabia AoE2
I am a NOOB I came back to the game after like 10 years and I never really learned to play it but I am playing with spanish and now winning against one hard AI.
I played aoe 3 when it came out and started playing online a month or so ago. Now i’m not new to the game but am i still considered a noob?
If you're new to online, yeah
@@SamuraiRevolution can you give me some tipps as the germans? i'm a german civ main that's why. i never know if i should build doppelsöldner or go for just skirms and war waggons.
Love you
My Favorite unit type is artillery. Cannons Cannons Cannons! I just like to see rag-dolling infantry and buildings fall near instantly. My favorite is the Great Bombard, The heavy cannon, and the Falconet.
Nice comment!!
rush to age 3 to spam cannons
Man, you forgot about the guys who used to play on zone.com back in the late 90’s and only play custom maps like hero fest
How to play multi?
What is a good deck for Ottomans I love them and I’m not a good player I’m only home city level 27
Check out my deck guide on my channel!
For ottos!
Yeah I recommend the fast fortress and rush decks
SamuraiRevolution thanks
No xxx: The player who has mostly played the warchiefs trial version, always goes for germans and california 1vs1 map, while loves to listen the word :"Angriff!" when he clicks on the skirmisher. In team game, he counts as 25% of a player and always loses its eco balance in colonial age ;). Thats me baby
