Just found you channel! Love the Mr. Buddy heater! Worth noting for the filter (thank you for mentioning that) is that it should be replaced every year as it will eventually clog with the oils. Love the lasagna pan idea! I have extra Reflectix, going to rig something up. Reflectix also works well under your sleep pad for a little extra R value.
I LOVE THIS!!!!! Going for my first winter camp in my new Truck Bed Tent, thay my wife gave me (US, HAHAHA) for Christmas, to test out a couple pieces of gear, that I have been working on developing, and the Buddy Heater! Great video!!!! 😊
It's nice that you're promoting cheap gear. So many channels have deals with companies and they are clearly just advertising expensive equipment. Like you say, it's not necessary to use expensive equipment. Improvising is much cheaper, and it's fun. I LOVE getting good deals, and I have also found some great stuff in thrift/charity shops. I love that you just nailed the tent to the deck, haha.
It’s so nice to see that so many people feel the same. Just get outside and enjoy the great outdoors with what you can afford. Thanks for watching, Cheers!
Watching! My Buddy heater kept my 6 person dome tent warm in snowy 20 degree weather. I bought my 0 degree bag on FB market place for $40 only used 2x and my Kelly Butress 6 tent for $60 from an former Boy Scout troup leader - even got a second one with some issues for an extra $30. Most of my equipment is used or on a great sale!
$20 well spent by the looks of it. Like you said you don’t always have to spend an arm and a leg to get out camping in any season. Thanks for sharing. Take care and stay safe.
Yeah I definitely spent a little more but I bought the cheap stuff I got a cylinder woodstove and a 10 person 4 season tent all for around 550 and everything is awesome. Been below 20 here so far and the tent gets super super hot. My heater buddy didn't change the temperature ever a little haha. It's a big tent though. I can feel it a little if I have it sitting by me but that's it
My 1st year doing this. My test is in the back yard and trying to get friends to join me. I'm from Hopkins Michigan so I'm from farmland and woods 😭😂😂😂😂 I enjoy being out here even without heat to be honest I can't wait to get out somewhere and go for hikes and explore and get back and make some stew haha. Thank you.
Hello, thank you for your video. great content. Mr Heater actually makes their own extension line for a 20 pound tank. I did some research before I bought mine because I learned about the issues that you talked about with the oils. CHEERS
Hi there! Yes I actually came across the Mr Heater extension when I was researching as well. I love my Mr Heater it works amazing. Thank for watching, Cheers!
I love my little buddy heater but the propane burns and puts moisture in the air so in the winter time my tent gets wet on the inside and freezes with ice on my tent and sleeping bag be careful without one if you're in really cold conditioner I've ran into it about three four times now always have a backup sleeping if you're going to run the propane
Love the video it's nice that you are telling others to get out there and try it. Its a blast to get out under the stars 🌟
Yes getting outdoors to experience winter camping is a must on anyone’s list I feel. Thanks for watching.
She very frugal….outdoor adventure on a budget. Love this gal!
That’s right you don’t need to spend a lot of money to enjoy the outdoors!👍 Thanks for watching!

Keep the videos coming!
Glad to see you’re still watching and catching up! 👍
If you got the filter a year ago, now would be a good time to change it.
I love winter camping because I usually have the campgrounds to myself. I have a Mr. Heater Buddy too and it's really what lets me get out there.
Yes the Mr. Buddy Heater was a great invention. Happy camping. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! Stay safe too.
Very nice!!! Thanks for sharing!!!! Was hoping you were going to cook something...maybe next time
Yes for sure next time I will be cooking on the Mr. Buddy now that I know it takes nothing to boil up water. Thanks for watching!
You could toss that tarp you water proofed then I can't find again, over that tent to insulate a little more. Wonder what became of the tarp?

Well I thought so too!👍😁 Thanks for watching!
Just ordered a new sleeping bag to help in making a few videos winter camping soon. Take care.👍👋

Save even more by refilling your own one pound green bottles
Hey Dave thanks for watching! Ya I have seen people doing that. I am not to sure how I feel about that.
