If you travel to Iran in 2024, visit Kandovan, a prehistoric 6,000 year old village cut out of the rocky mountains. Kandovan Village is only an hour drive from Tabriz. Here you'll find a population of around 600 people living in stone houses with 2 meter walls to stay cool in summer and warm in winter.
They subside on agriculture and livestock and I was up early to follow the local Kandovan people taking their goats and sheep out for the day.
If you've ever been to Cappadocia, Turkey (Turkiye) you might see similarities in the manmade cliff dwellings, troglodyte homes, and even the cave hotels! I stayed in the Laleh Rocky Hotel and got a surprise upgrade to a CAVE SUITE, complete with jacuzzi!
I spent 24 DAYS IN IRAN and am SO excited to show you just how different the country is from what you might see on television and the news.

اگر به ایران سفر کردید، حتما از کندوان، روستای ماقبل تاریخ 6000 ساله که از میان کوه های سنگی بریده شده است، دیدن کنید. روستای کندوان تنها یک ساعت با تبریز فاصله دارد. در اینجا شما جمعیتی حدود 600 نفر را خواهید یافت که در خانه های سنگی با دیوارهای 2 متری زندگی می کنند تا در تابستان خنک و در زمستان گرم بمانند.
آنها در زمینه کشاورزی و دامداری فروکش می کنند و من زود بیدار بودم تا مردم محلی کندوان را دنبال کنم و بز و گوسفند خود را برای روز بیرون ببرند.
اگر تا به حال به کاپادوکیه، ترکیه (ترکیه) رفته باشید، ممکن است شباهت هایی را در خانه های صخره ای مصنوعی، خانه های تروگلودیت ها و حتی هتل های غار مشاهده کنید! من در هتل لاله راکی ماندم و به یک سوئیت غار ارتقاء یافتم و جکوزی کامل شد!
من 24 روز را در ایران گذراندم و بسیار هیجان زده هستم که به شما نشان دهم چقدر کشور با آنچه ممکن است در تلویزیون و اخبار ببینید متفاوت است.

Imagine you are European watching this!
You will think Iran is a large village with sheep keepers!
Not showing the young people of major cities is giving a WRONG image of Iran to average Western viewer on TH-cam! I will only believe good intentions if I see WOMEN & MEN in equal numbers in his film.
The reality is when my European colleagues went to Iran & came back with their jaws dropped when they met so many educated young men & women speaking multiple languages.

Hospitality of Iranians is quite popular and well known among tourists who have had a visit by themselves especially in the southern cities. you could experience an unprecedented warm welcome from nice people there, who live their lives with love. I strongly recommend a visit to southern cities During the winter time when the weather is heavenly there. Just enjoy your unforgettable time in this lovely country.
