    Excellent review. I always thought this set as a Penon mini serial with the special sauce of its upper treble extension of the r1. I found the fit to be perfect with Spinfit Omni’s or the W1s..The penons cost four times as much.

    Nice review man... This has been a set on my radar because of the relaxed upper-treble/8K-above region (super sensitive region to these here ears) so to hear your well-presented/articulated take on this set has been genuinely helpful in persuading my purchase. Plus, I like the fact that you're not afraid of Meshuggah 😄 By the way, have you heard Max Richter's (original 2012) recomposed recording of Vivaldi's Four Seasons.. ? Stunner of an album. Anyways, you've garnered up another subscriber to your channel from a true music lover - Cheers !

    Thank you for an awesome review !
    I guess they have QC issues or different driver variations , my set is so hot in upper mids and treble that I cant stand them ...and I tried everything except removing the mesh filter and throwing a foam dampener inside.

    • @BassDad8
      @BassDad8  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Oh wow! That is really strange. Mine are so smooth up to and beyond 2.5K that what you're experiencing is astonishing! Are you able to exchange them? If so, I would do that ASAP. It really sounds like there is something wrong internally on your set. I did notice that they are pretty tip sensitive as well. narrow bore tips really congest the upper mids and treble and shrink the soundstage as well. But it didn't make mine hot, just less coherent/cohesive. I'd try the widest bore tips you've got and see if that helps, but my guess is that you got a lemon. I hope you can send them back!

    16:38 Artti is a sub brand of Letshuoer, so technically, they already have flagships. You may want to look up the Letshuoer S15.

    • @BassDad8
      @BassDad8  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yup. Know that. I’d put the T10 right up against the S15 any day of the week. That said, sub brands can have flagship sets too. And they should look into it. But thank you for pointing that out. So helpful

    • @BassDad8
      @BassDad8  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Besides the fact that the $2,300 Cadenza 12 would be considered Letshuoer’s “Flagship” I would think? I don’t know. 🤷 Maybe we should look that up?

    • @TechTroppy
      @TechTroppy 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @BassDad8 I've read that the T10 has the same driver as the S12s.
      Yes, sure, sub brands can have flagships. If they make one, hopefully, they will price it somewhat aggressively.
      For example LETSHUOER Cadenza 12 at that price point doesn't stand a chance against the competition. Sure, it has many BAs (like 11), but that doesn't necessarily make a good sound. It introduces a lot of harmonics into equation without providing enough benefits.

    • @BassDad8
      @BassDad8  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TechTroppy Actually the drivers of the S12 and T10 are not the same. The S12’s driver is a 14.8mm and the T10 has the “new gen” 14.2mm . It is the same driver as the NiceHCK F1 Pro and that driver is the updated version of the OG 7Hz Timeless 14.2mm planar. So the brand is Letshuoer, but the Ancestry is 7Hz. This isn’t confusing at all, is it?
      And you’re right about the Cadenza 12 having stiff competition. They’re in the Summit-Fi tier with that one and the competition is absolutely Fierce. It would be hard to justify buying it over comparably price sets. Or even sets for a bit less. Still love what they’ve been up to, especially in their sub brand Artti. And the Letshuoer S08 is due to drop soon. Can’t wait for that one!

      @BassDad8  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So i'd like to recommend the R1, but a subscriber said theirs was peaky in the treble. my set is definitely not. But that gives me pause. If there are QC issues... I am not sure there are, but if you want to be safe and still want a really good set, get the Fudu.
