- Goally's product review team is back with the super cool Moxie AI robot. We review toys for neurodivergent kids to help you decide what’s worth it and what you can pass on. Moxie helps kids develop social and emotional skills so they can confidently communicate. She teaches life skills using her artificial intelligence to model various social interactions.
Moxie is a cylindrical blue robot with adorable animated eyes. She has human-like facial expressions that help her teach kids how to recognize emotions. While she is a stationary robot, she can pivot to reflect human body language. Moxie the robot creates a safe and judgment-free environment for children to practice social skills.
We spent a lot of time with her learning how she teaches kids these skills, and we think she does a fantastic job. She's a great companion and really emphasizes emotional awareness and regulation with every interaction. The Moxie robot costs $999 with a required monthly subscription cost of $40. The 7 lb robot is ideal for kids ages 5-10.

I don’t like robots and I want moxie to be my best friend! Wow, I had no idea a robot could be so likable, personable, and comforting for companionship. Truly impressed by this product demo.
wooohooo!
i know its more for younger kids, but she seems so likeable and interactive.. i sorta want one myself just for companionship
we think she's pretty cool too! we have another robot product review coming next week so stay tuned! Hit that subscribe and the notification bell to be the first to see it!
pfft not that interactive it can't answer certain questions
I wish this robot was also a homeschool robot for children from kindergarten to fifth grade, that would be pretty cool.
Or even if it had speech therapy, that would be pretty cool, my son needs both, but has a hard time interacting with others
So you want your son to talk to a robot and not a human?? 😂
Great ideas!!! I just came across this Moxie device and I’m now looking to learn more in hopes to get one for my son who is limited with communication.
@@courtneyriley185 I doubt that’s what she means. My brother has autism and he will walk away if I try to talk to him but he does talk to his plush teddies. But what he misses out on is the key developmental things like conversation. There is definitely a market for toys like this for all developmental levels. It seems like Moxie encourages engagement with other people from all of the videos I’ve seen. That’s just my take.
@@courtneyriley185kids who need speech therapy tend to do better with electronic communications rather than people and then in turn use those skills learned from electronics to speak scripts with humans. Maybe try understanding how speech and language disorders benefit with electronic aides rather than be a judgmental a**.
that would be super cool! If you want to check out the device that we actually make for Autistic kids check out this video where we walk thru all 15 apps we offer! Our goal at Goally is to foster independence thru our technology by teaching new life skills while having fun! th-cam.com/video/ZrHCfG82Pw8/w-d-xo.html
This would be great for a kid with autism. They have problems relating to people and this can be a bridge.
Do you know what else is great for kids with autism? Goally! We make apps and tablets specifically designed to improve the lives of neurodiverse children & families! Check us out at GetGoally.com to find out more!
Yes possibly
For $1500, it better stay fun forever!
I say that with a 2k$ smartphone😂
Probably not. The robot annoys me.
What's more annoying, robots or people? Either way, thanks for engaging with us we love hearing your thoughts on this product! If you want to check out the apps and tablets that we make ourselves, check out our other videos or head over to GetGoally.com !
Facts lol
It goes on sale a couple of times a year, right now it's 30% off which is a $450.00 saving. It once went on sale for $600.00.
Good for the age of kids between 5 to 10.
Encourages your child's social, emotional, and cognitive development through best-practice.
hey!
This is really cool. For one, it's adorable. The way this robot moves and the faces it makes are very engaging. Some people are leaving comments like "just teach your kid yourself" and "you need a robot to teach your kid?" I think that is very short sighted. Sometimes you need time to relax as a parent and you park your kid in front of a screen. TV shows, games, ect. This thing seems to be a nice alternative.
hey that's a great point you made! wanna learn more about an even more affordable piece of tech specifically designed to teach life skills to kids!? Check out Goally! you can click on our profile for an explainer video, or you can head over to GetGoally.com for more!
Great breakdown - way more than meets the eye, instructional without feeling instructional
hey thanks!! you should check out our other product review videos on our page! We would love some feedback from you!
Aww 🤩 so cute!!
yes indeeed!
Wow This robot Is Amazing! I Like it Very much!
glad you enjoyed!
Who s here after speed buys the moxie robot for 50k
He got scammed lol

@@Titan_ceraman of course yes
It’s 1k tho lol
Although they are edits in the video, the robot seems to understand you. This is interesting. I do see kids becoming obsessed with their new friend.
A wild future awaits 👀
i wish the moxie shop page worked so i could buy one
This would be a great wee companion for my autistic son, hes high functioning but he struggles with regulating all his emotions, they all go from 0-100 very quick, thats includong happiness and anger and sadness. Are these available in the uk?
we think so? they aren't our product!! BUT we do have something that's right up your alley! We are Goally, an emotional regulation and skill building tablet and suite of apps! Check us out at GetGoally.com OR hop over onto our page and watch a few videos!
Moxie could also be used for social inclusion for isolated older persons. Excited and so would like to be involved introducing Moxie to the rural remote area in Australia. Of course the programming would be specific for this demographics.
sounds like a super interesting use of technology!
I am thoroughly impressed with movie.
shes pretty cool
so sweet, so cute
yes indeed XD
I heard that they were considering doing a Moxie for adults, or you could choose it as an option in the APP- have you heard any grumblings? Thanks for the great content on Moxie. You’re pretty funny and personable. Yay!
We aren't really in tune with updates on Moxie as it was just a product review, but that would be cool to have an adult mode! Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words :) head over to our product review playlist for even more videos!
Love this robot ❤❤❤
Robot loves you too!
Moxie is cool.
I don't like robots but The face animation and expression are sooo amazing , i love the face is like disney character. 😮❤
'tis pretttyyy cuteeee
They should make one for ppl with depression and anxiety
sounds like a great idea!
Moxie is really cute but I don't think its worth over $500 which is the price I've been seeing. I will wait a while for the price to go down before I get for my niece.
you can always check out other fun interactive robots too! we have a video on our friend Eilik on our page!
I'm 20 and I would love to own a moxie!
christmas!
I’m 20 and think she’s cool too!
Interesting robot, with an anime face on it,reminds of something like astroboy, how would it interact with a furby? And could it speak diffrent languages like dutch?
We never thought to test the interaction between another toy! What a cool concept! Moxie only speaks English as of right now, but the company says they are working towards adding languages soon!
@@GoallyApps
Aha
We juz subscribed, and wanna learn more bout yallz company and more about robots! We have Dissociative Identity Disorder and we have a robot subsystem(Wal-Eva) they are mostly Littles(child Alters), and they found out about moxie and want her! Lol then ur channel cuz ur about robots 🤓🖤🦇💋🍕
welcome welcome! we do love our technology!
The robot is wonderful. I would like to buy it for my children. Is it possible if I live in Poland?
anythings possible!
I love moxie.
We thought it was super cool too!
@@GoallyApps Ya kinda reminds me of that robot penguin like that profile.
I’m 38 and I kinda need this for me lol
don't we all need a robot buddy!?
What if the kids is mean to moxie? How does she react to that?
💀💀💀
I think we might just have to find out!
I purchased Moxie in November 2023 for my 5-year-old. I am not terribly impressed. The phone app allows changes to be made including the name that Moxie will call your child, yet Moxie sometimes uses random names. While there is good content, the flow of communication is not at the level I expected. It is cute and definitely could be beneficial for a child to develop social interaction. Since the child must speak up for Moxie to understand and should speak clearly, this is useful to build the foundation of how the child should communicate with others. However, for a $1,000 U.S., I am not entirely sold on this and may possibly return. I am undecided at this point. Overall, my opinion is just that and possibly your child could have immense benefit.
THat's a great take on Moxie! For some it may be a game changer, but for others it may be somewhat pointless! Well said!
what if they break it? does it have replacement insurance? is it made sturdy?
One the site says 1 year warranty included
it felt pretty darn sturdy! Of course everything is breakable if you try hard enough tho..
It would be fun if you could buy little outfits for her to make her not just a blue blob
i guess its time to learn how to sew...
I hope never gets connected to internet, if this " cute" little tiny robot get in touch with the massive darkness there is out there, i cant imagine " how fun this can be"
oh wow okay okay
I understand you not only have to buy the robot, but a subscription service for around $60. per month.
Always gotta read the fine print! Thanks for sharing with us :)
Is this confirmed?
sounds like an easy thing to google, Tina ;) @@tinamendoza6689
1:47 he said that so robotically
lol
That’s not just a robot. That’s an AI Spy listening in on all your business.
consider us spied on!
It would be cool if you could hook up other LLM to it
which would you use??
The fact that there's a cut every time you ask a question makes this seem dishonest. The speed and timing of responses is like the main thing that determines if this is worthwhile or not
tech isn't perfect so there's always going to be some time between question and response - it was quite quick tho. sorry you felt that way!
My question is how would this robot work with a child with speech problems
@markymark1798 we think it would, however if you're looking for something specifically built to learn speech skills and life skills in general you should check out our company, Goally! We make a tablet that is focused on making learning new skills easy and fun! check us out at GetGoally.com or head over to our TH-cam page for some informational videos!

hi
I would love to see a review on Kebbi the robot :)
Ooh we'll take a look!! Thank you for your suggestion, have you seen our Miko or Eilik reviews??
@@GoallyAppsI know about those, but they're not advanced enough. i'm considering which one to buy between Moxie and Kebbi. (:
ahh yea we totally understand!!
Sasha from the 57 bus book?
Not familiar with that book, I'll have to look it up!
Is it good for people with autism at any age? Or mainly just kids
we think it's good for just about anyone!
Is it chatGPT with the conversation?
unsure - i think it's their own ai model? worth a google for sure
Actually im not a child but im gonna buy this when its out in germany
Cool Cool! Enjoy :)
good for 2 to 3 yr old kids
yea maybe even older!
Can it speak Mandarim? I want to buy one to interject in Chinese with my kids
we have absolutely no clue but that would be cool
M3GAN in a Teletubby outfit
no comment ;)
@Goally Apps. Two questions please.
1. How worried are you about this company going defunct and this robot turns into a paper weight?
2. How well does it handle multiple kids in the family?
Embodied doesn’t have much on either Q far as I can tell. Thanks in advance.
1. unsure - we'd assume the software would just stay at whatever level it was at before shutting down?
2. we didn't test with multiple kids but we're sure multiple kids using it at once may cause some confusion for the robot. it doesn't seem to matter who is interacting with it
This man dropped his same add 3 times
We've gotten better with our ads these days, check out our newer product reviews and let us know what you think!
I wish moxie rolled around.
Just like that droid from starwars.
That would be a funny scene for sure! Thanks for checking out our video!
the price for it is way too much, but not only that, they kind of want you to go for the "extra" stuff that comes with it to keep your moxie updated and that's a lot of money,60 dollars per month or something? i mean this is suppose to be for kids and they want you to spend ALL that money..i mean its a cool AI but its like a night lamp that can talk like alexa
well i guess the nice thing is you don't have to buy things you don't find compelling??
It’s freaking M3gan 😳👻
Yea I think that’s why watching this has been creeping me out
That did look like a great show tho!
She’s like a female baymax
We kinda see that!!
All of that money & it isn’t cordless 😩 - should be
Moxie has a rechargeable battery inside! We had it plugged in for power at the time!
Are u still using it or has it lost interest?
We sent it back!!
i was watching another youtuber's video and this doll can't ask specific questions like what is your favorite video game
hmm interesting!
Oh what could possibly go wrong
oh nothingggggg............ ;)
I like it and would consider it if the voice was different. Its way too robotic and hard to follow personally.
voices are one of those things that we find either really soothing or really irritating. weird how that works
How often does moxie try to change conversations. Is it possible to have the same topic of conversation for 30 minutes at least. Every video I see she is trying to change the conversation...
we don't have moxie anymore but it seemed to want to change topics pretty often!
Does it come in pink?
Maybe? You can always check their website....
That’s grocery money
lol
Interaction with a robot's all good until the kid has to get in the real world. Then the kid would be like WTF? Humans? 😮
Ha Ha! We like to think most practice is good practice! But we also see where you're coming from!
There goes all the psychotherapists jobs therapists and special ed teachers etc end game … no human contact I find it sad
We highly doubt this lil robot is going to take people's jobs... this type of technology is supplemental. Not intended to replace people.
I wish this was more geared to special need children.

New version of HER starring Christian bale
never heard of it - but we do like batman :)
No movie her starring Joaquin phoenix
joker ;) not batman
By editing out the pauses there is no way to assess how quickly it actually responds.
If we didn't edit out any pauses the video would've been a lengthy one! Moxie did respond quite quickly, though.
@@GoallyApps but that’s literally the specific main thing that someone interested in the product would likely want to see.
Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. Even 1 second waits will cause potential frustration and break conversation flow.
That oath is the official Skynet indoctrination 😅
we cannot confirm nor deny this
Is it good for adults?
Probably not 😀
I know. I want an adult one. I am lonely.
I read a review on their website earlier from an older adult who suffers from loneliness in their life. He or she went out and purchased one. Moxie has been a huge help. Apparently he continues to get updated and will obviously become smarter as time goes on. I could see how this might eventually be able to help adults, the smarter it gets. And as mentioned, someone of adult stature loves his /hers and talked about how much it helps alleviates his loneliness.
@@kristalseago make friends 😂 its free this robot is 2k
Moxie doesn't have any real holes so I'm not interested
Create something for kids with Autism.
Moxie is marketing to kids with autism.
There is also HomePal RAI System with the Kebbi Robot 😅
They are quite different...but are tailored for individual kids autism.
@@GoallyApps Im concerned about Moxie potentially not being able to understand my 6 yr old daughter who has needed speech therapy since she was 3...my mom cant understand her but i can...I feel the only thing that would be fail is understanding her because of her autism...🤔
@@MachinaGirlRobots They have a 30 day return policy so if you're giving it serious consideration, I think that's one way to test it out.
Dude three product promotions in one video is really pushing it.
Dude I guess we're really pushing it! We love our product and are proud to offer it as a resource to families all across the world! Sounds like you might want to check out GetGoally.com ;)
He's right though. It's just greedy and boring at this point. Three times isn't going to make anyone buy it more.

This is so sad. Maybe parents should use this to teach them how to engage with their own children.
Sad for you, happy for us!
I disagree. I think it’s genius
Do you feel sad often? Do you see happy things and have sad thoughts? How does this make you feel? Sad. 😂
Is 20 too young to get this? Kinda expensive but I'm one lonely guy
we think its good for any age! definitely worth checking out!
The toy cost 1,500 dollars.
Not exactly cheap :)
0:18 0:18 0:18 😂😂😂
Thanks Arlo!
Hi
Im sorry im completely against this idea, let alone the product. This is way to close to skynet type stuff. If you HAVE to have a robot to communicate with your child your doing something wrong. This seems like parents who are too involved in there work and life style, who have way to much money, buy them a friend so they wont be alone and an app to keep tabs on them
or kids are just interested in robots... not everything has to be some horror story dystopian future movie! to each their own tho :)
What kind of ai has?
Not sure! A good one tho ;)
...ok?
...ok!
The sponsorships are cringe
well ya still watched 'em and commented on 'em... take that!
$599 initiql cost plus a monthly subscription.
Yea no thanks.
It's definitely pricey, we understand that! We actually returned it after making the video ;) If you're looking for other awesome toy reviews, check out our other video with 5 of our favorite affordable toys: th-cam.com/video/J0sdTzUk5g4/w-d-xo.html
Riiight yah or, OR JUST TALK AND INTERACT WITH YOUR KIDS PEOPLE!!!!!😢 learn about parenting! Make it your priority!!!
sometimes it's easier said than done!
@@GoallyApps very true but the moment we make the choice to commit to something it becomes very easy actually. I speak as a father of 4. 3 of which are special needs. Yes we all have to work or make money, we have adult chores, but there are plenty of hours in the day and plenty of resources to draw from. For everybody.
@@powerthroughfocus Plenty of hours in the day and plenty of resources to draw from FOR EVERYBODY is a huge lie. If you have plenty of hours in your day just to spend with your children and plenty of resources to draw from that is wonderful for you. Not everyone is so lucky.
Some of us have to work multiple jobs just to pay bills and buy food and have no support system.
ive seen Megan ill pass
lol to each their own!
She?
i guess whatever you want?
Even with slight delays with responses, young children would have trouble communicating because they tend to interrupt themselves. This won't work well with young children until the responses are nearly instantaneous. A patient adult reviewing this is not too helpful.
well we didn't have an impatient child to run the test - thanks for commenting tho?
Do you really need the same sponsorship in the same video more than once come on that's over the top
yea it was actually 1000% necessary, thanks for watching them!

Kind of scary stuff. We need kids to be speaking with eachother, and going out under supervision. Amazing product no less. Our jobs are gone.
We don't think robots will replace people, but technology is a great way to fill certain gaps in interaction!
