When I was diagnosed as a kid, they specifically labelled me as someone with PDD-NOS. But I couldn’t help but notice over the years that this term is barely being used anymore. Instead everyone referred to it as ASD. I didn’t realise that the term PDD-NOS Has been kind of dropped over the last few years since people start to understand the entire autism diagnosis exists on a spectrum.

How long far of a distance can you be away from this tracker if your kid is at school and you’re looking at the track on your phone? How far of the radius can this tracker go before you lose updates? Does it just update no matter how far it goes. Does it update real time? Have you ever had a problem where it loses connection doesn’t update or stalls

Much of the ptsd comes from having to manage the meltdowns early in life. Meltdowns that can be sometimes violent and last hours. As a parent you can get into a cycle of overpreparring for and being overly responsive. Ptsd. I think the kiddos unfortunately learn to use these behaviors purposefully to get needs/desires met as they grow older out of habit and because it works. I don't think they have a clue how detrimental it is for the parent who is literally having a trauma response.

Very helpful. I read my son’s EP report but this makes more sense. It’s possible for someone to be totally honest, deeply caring with empathy and even a relatively resilient character and yet have the no ability to manage money like a 3-year old, despite being able to play brilliantly musical instruments, being able to know the time tables up to 12 and can do maths like a typical 9-year old and yet, he cannot cross the road safely without supervision. It is a crazily complex mix when someone has both ASD and intellectual disability. I will never be able to ‘get’ it how one can exercise emotional intelligence with very little cognitive intellectual ability. It is humbling to all parents.

You got the marketing totally wrong. This is for parents and families keeping track of appointments, events, tasks and chores. There's really nothing else like it on the market. You did them a disservice deeming it for senior citizens.
