Fairplay mate always give me a giggle 😄👍 good informative vidio on the nexus 👍fish are looking good 👌😉 and like you said I love cleaning my filters it's apart of the hobby for me 👍😉
Love your updates, always upbeat and entertaining as well as informative 👏👍😊. You’re a man after my own heart with how you like to keep everything clean👍. Fish are looking good and water is nice and clear so filter appears to be working for you😊👍.
Nice update Dave. I am amazed how you can clean the nexus so well. Not as easy with the eazypod as you can't lift up the cage. Definitely a filter I would have if I wasn't pump fed with a raised pond. You so made me giggle with the hose and the washing... Take care
Nexus cleaning process looking good and the tip on positioning the Eazy makes complete sense to get the desired vortex action. Fish are also look good. Cheers.
Had one of these for a few years before my expensive drum. Did a great job. One note. . Crap collects under the easy, I used a long handled hoselock watering spray . Angled the nozzle to clean the underneath.
Thanks for watching 👍🏼 I do the same, made myself a little right angle brush to help. Best wishes. What drum do you have? Deffo on the wish list for me a drum 😃

Thanks for the great insight and feedback. I’ve heard very good things about the owner of draco. Would be nice to simply add rather move all the existing 👍🏼 You on Facebook?
All looking good buddy👌 Did you get a wallop from the Mrs is what I want to know?🤔😂 Although drums do, do a lot of the work load for you, they definitely do still require maintenance to a certain extent, such as making sure the float switch is good now and then🤐😁 seriously though, pond is looking great. Any plans for any more fish this season?
Thank you 👍🏼 With regards to koi - definitely. I want to thin out the fish that weren’t meant to be in there and hopefully find a good goshiki and asagi 😊
Brilliant review mate I have the nexus 220+ really helpful, how did The inner chamber detach itself, does it just lift out? If so I’ll be giving that a go. You make me laugh with your witty comments and the wet washing. 😂😂😂
Glad you enjoy the videos - main reason I do them to bring a little fun to people. Yep the eazy busts lifts out. Go steady and give a little twist as your lifting up. Watch your fingers as the metal is sharp in places 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
So far no - i did however sweep the pond floor yesterday which clogged he inner chamber up. I’ll be adding aqua source resolve today which I’ve always had good results with 👍🏼
@@edenkoipond yeah that's what I meant the inner chamber/eazy chamber I'm surprised you haven't had a lot of blanket weed this year we've had so much that it's been blocking the DracoDrum solum 25 waste shoot. Only a 2 minute job once a week but I can't imagine how bad a nexus would be if a drum is clogging up 😱 I would still highly recommend it but a sieve would probably be better for blanket weed and floating objects. If I did it again I'd have an ultrasieve III pump feeding the drum and place the drum above the moving bed so it flows in via gravity.
I have the usual amount in the eazy and the bio side I have (if I remember rightly) 100 litres of k1, 25 litres of Helx-13 and 50 litres K+. Plus around 25 litres of k1 micro (not on purpose 🙄) 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Watching this with headphones on. When you hosed the washing I let out a very loud howl and frightened the Missus to death 🤣
Brilliant 🧁😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍

Lol I was the same watching this at 6.30am, but it was the dog I scared 🤣🤣

Ponds a credit to you I am just waiting for the weather to improve then getting mine fibreglassed. Roll on spring
Thanks Dean, very kind. Still lots to do as and when money allows. Fibreglass is the turning point. From there it’s all go go go 👍🏼

Great update think of you did 10% a week like they say that's 1500l a week it's crazy the amount of water we use 🤣 good to see a nice spring clean 👍

Excellent video, you could at some point fit a DracoDrum in centre best thing I fitted to my 320.
Have been tempted but put off by a number of people that have since ditched the drop in due to reliability issues?
