Thank you for the tutorial. It was very helpful. I my headlights were so old they started to crack. Here are some tips that helped me: 1. Use a 1/4" extension instead of a 3/8"s to reach the screw under the headlight. 2. When removing the plastic retainers for the cover, if they're stuck and you're afraid of breaking them because they're brittle and old, spray WD 40. 3. Also spray the grille connectors. When you release the connectors, the tab won't come out all the way out until you're on the other side of the grille. 4. When removing the headlight, look behind the fender where the headlight meets. There's a black plastic piece that's getting in your way. Push this down with a screw driver if you don't have a plastic trim tool to push down with from the front. 5. If you do push down from the front, be careful not to nick the paint. Good luck!

My 2014 truck had a bolt at the back/side of light. Tab is not there now. 😢. Broke it off. “Just pull at angle”. NOT. I just needed bulbs so now I get to do the whole damn thing
There is a bracket you are supposed to remove before putting the headlamp back on. It's easy to find & is being held on with 3 bolts lind up vertically. If you don't remove this bracket you will be cussing up a storm trying to put the lamp back on. My advice is to use a swivel adapter to remove the bottom bolt on the bracket. (If you can, you should remove it before pulling it out.) Good Luck.
So glad Chevrolet moved away from the 2000-2003 design... 🤔 that design was way too simple to replace headlights. what the old saying??? "if it ain't broke, don't fix it.." they had a great design and turned it into this mess 😠

GM really screwed the pooch on this design. It should be WAY easier to replace a simple bulb.

The new TRQ replacement headlights came with bulds already installed. Do I need to replace those with new bulds?
+1Bigdog Copper Test bulbs may be included with the assembly, we do recommend changing them.
My grill is hooked into the bumper. It does not lift up
