Australia Weather: Your week ahead as eastern showers dominate

Eastern Australia has lower temperatures, more cloud and a high risk of showers for the next full week ahead as the weather pattern around the nation somewhat stalls.
High pressure remains centred just to the south of WA and SA and over the coming week drifts eastwards to reach VIC, TAS and the ACT by the weekend.
However coastal NSW and QLD have a week of showers, some areas of rain and cloudier and cooler airflows.
By this Sunday a low in the Coral may be worth monitoring, especially for Queenslanders. No storm is forecast yet but any low in the Coral Sea is worthy of monitoring closely, especially as we’re still technically in the cyclone season for another two weeks.

When my daughter first moved down here, I’d keep an eye on her weather forecast and the BoM used to just say “showers in Hobart”. Never mind the rest of the state.
Showers in Hobart, assuming there’s any dampness at all (eastern shore) means enough to stop the washing from completely drying. It does not mean anything that particularly hits the ground. There was one massive dump of Rain that caused localised flooding on properties at the bottom of a hill, quite devastating for the owner. Since then, yawn.
Please see if you can rectify that, without getting too carried away.🥰
