I have real hope for Cap 4. It needs to be a win for me. Deadpool and Guardians were just ok for me, im kind of sick of the comedy-esk type team ups now and I see Thunderbolts as just another one of those. Im not excited for it. Feels like the MCU has been there, done that sort of thing, especially recently. Will still watch it but I want a different meal now. I’m craving something more serious. Hopefully Cap 4 delivers on that.
This film has had sooooo many reshoots. You can tell Marvel is doing everything in their power to salvage it & try to make some $$$ with it. Marvel doesn't want a Joker 2/The Flash situation over in their neck of the woods
The main resorts came when feige was able to take control again. These latest resorts were only for Gian Carlo Esposito. Which is normal. It's normal to have small resoots.
I only have one question/concern about Cap 4. How the fuck is a non super soldier serum sam wilson taking a punch from a hulk with his shield in that poster
John Campea - I know you were thinking about retiring around Superman Legacy to do Filthy Sports full time, but you should consider sticking until at least Avengers Secret Wars (2027) - leave on a massive high note. Lots of good movies and shows to review between now and then.
Colin Farell's performance as penguin isn't close to Heath Ledger's performance as the joker. Ledger's joker is a performance for the ages. And one of the greatest villains in film history. Where Colin Farell's performance is close to Ledger, is as Heath Ledger set the gold standard for the joker for the past and going forward, Colin Farell has now set the gold standard for the penguin going forward. And Colin Farell deserves all the awards for his awesome performance in The Penguin. Just a jaw dropping performance. Bravo Colin.
Very show not tell imo, they kept telling me how smart Toranaga was but I never saw it, the first time he showcased his “smartness” he would have got caught and died when he was hiding, and in the the end he just wins because that what the story and plot says lol.
I mean not that I don't want to see it but I genuinely don't care about the Falcon let alone being inserted as the 'new captain America' Harrison Ford is the only reason why I'm watching this, I genuinely don't care about CA4, but hey zero expectations I should walk out of the theater satisfied
@deangelop6878 10 years? Like I said 'inserted' nobody gives a flying f**k no pun intended about Mackie/Falcon as new Cap & if you say you do you're lying to yourself.
@paytondecorah838 lmao no bro you're just unnecessarily upset. When this movie makes a billion and proves you wrong, I hope you realize the only one lying to themselves is you.
Deadpool and Wolverine will have ZERO positive effect for CA4. This film looks terrible and you KNOW it has to be bad when even Disney execs hate it. They've made this flick over essentially from scratch like 3 times already and it's said to have cost over $380 million. CA4 would have to do D&W number plus some just to break even and that's not gonna happen. CA4 will probably be the first MCU flick i dont go to the theater to see. Nothing about it looks intriguing to me. I'll just wait til it's on D+.
No because Thunderbolts hasn't a shit ton of production drama and great trailers and Brave New World is a spin-off sequel to one of the most acclaimed superhero trilogies so it has more weight behind it
Two reasons why I have little faith in Captain America 4: 1.After The Marvels' supposed delay in favor of major restructuring still delivering a mediocre product, this idea of trying to take something that's already written and shot and trying to make it good through reshoots and editing is something I have little faith in. Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four are going to be great because they started production with a script they were happy with, but I'll honestly be shocked if Cap 4 and Daredevil Born Again are able to be salvaged from the disasters they were born out of. 2.This concept of trying to make a Winter Soldier-style spy thriller around Sam is already conceptually weak. Winter Soldier was gripping because it was the perfect soldier from the 40s trying to adjust to a time period he clearly didn't fit into. Sam is already adjusted to this period, he already went through the arc of adjusting to the Captain America mantle in F&tWS, so it's just a generic spy thriller with Sam in the mix. "Oh, the president's inner circle has been compromised!" Been there, done that.
I agree with John. I still don’t Falcon as a Captain America at the moment. Always liked the Sam Wilson character overall though.
Anyone else heard the sound at 0:00?
That was a Campea Groan I believe 😂😂
27:00 Hiring famous celebrities to do voice acting started with Aladdin, with Robin Williams. Lion King after that.
Deadpool was ok as a stand alone movie for me but it did not do anything to take the MCU story ahead. I have hopes that cap 4 will.

Rather have sooo many reshoots than a halfass job that was left dead in the water
It had one set ot reshoots that lasted less than three weeks and are currently doing pickups

For cap it all depends on how they handel the super part.
Mainly looking forward to Thunderbolts and F4, but curious to see if changes made to this Brave New World will be satisfying enough.
I only have one question/concern about Cap 4. How the fuck is a non super soldier serum sam wilson taking a punch from a hulk with his shield in that poster
Han solo. Deckard. Indiana Jones. Now Red hulk.. Harrison Ford is a true legend.
I think Captain America 4 will be a whole lot better than Thunderbolts, both will be good but I feel the Cap movie will be better.

azrael was batman :)
I think Shogun was great, but it was just too slow and for that reason overrated.
Felt the same way about the show. Didn’t even finish it

I agreed with John about its greatness up until the final episode which was anti climactic
Both Thunderbolts & Cap 4 look really bad to me unfortunately. Looking forward to F4 tho
You are in the absolute minority my friend.
@@LTProductions335 Doubt it. But if I was, not like I care?
This looks bad now that they release the opening screen date

He's not being "inserted" he's been cap America in the comics for 10 years already.

So is Miles Morales not Spider man? Also you say “This isn’t the comics….this is the MCU”. Yet you just used the Batman example from a comic
Mel Blanc

Who said they hate it? 😂
So would Thunderbolts be tagged a momentum killer or enhancer if it came before Cap4? None of this talk would be happening. SMH.

@@padraicconway5985I think as long as it’s not a turd like joker 2 it will do fine box office wise.
Imagine being the poor actor who played Hulks idiot son?

The reshoots were after the Bob Chapek era and Fiege getting control back.
Kevin Feige didn't lose his power. Stop making excuses for his failures.
