Code P0700 is a generic trouble code related to a fault in the transmission control system.

P0700 code came on with no other code. At the time that it came on it wouldn’t allow cruise control to be set. Turned car off. Car sat for 4 hours and the service light stayed on but cruise control was able to be set. Diagnostic device was used to check what code was triggering. Turned car back on and now the service light is off. Is this signs of a faulty sensor?

I just had to replace the shift solenoid block on my 09 Chrysler Sebring and it’s been about a week but it’s only been driven around town not on the highway yet as I need to get it reinsured, but today I got p0700 code no other codes. My car is a high mileage car like you talked about and I elected not to change the fluid after changing the solenoid block(it is located on top of my trans) since I wasn’t already dropping the pan I haven’t changed the filter either. Just wondering if since I didn’t get any other codes if that might be my next step? Also, when I first got the codes for the shift solenoid I parked the car and didn’t drive it anymore. But in the time it took me to save the money for the parts the battery went dead as I forgot to unplug an accessory. Possibly the cause of the code, I think I’ll check that first, I’ve had issues with various wiring on the car over the years anyway so maybe I’ll start there. Thx for the vid.
2008 saturn vue got code p182e as well as p0700.. looses acceleration then the traction check engine and a engine with a arrow facing down comes on. I can sit for a few reatart the car.. please help me
I drop my 2018 back off where I bought my chevy v8 LT.i bought it no payments.no worranty.but that code pop up so what do you think there going to charge me.
Because the truck would not go or drive at a light then I turned truck off let set couple seconds or more cranked up in it dove in shift slowley.then would start loseing power not wanting to shift.so I pulled over shut off in started back up in it got me home.so I have dropped off at the chevy place where I bought it in haven't Hurd no answer on price.

I change the solenoids, filter and still showing those codes I already reset it with scanner and still showing those.
Aveo 2010, the transmission is delayed, so it gets the second gear

That is a lot of unrelated codes. Unless the vehicle has a wiring issue, each will have its own fix.
P2626 Code: (Bank 1 Oxygen Sensor 1)
P0441 Code: (Evaporative Emission Control System - Incorrect Purge Flow)

Check the transmission fluid and be sure it is at the correct level. Also, examine the fluid color. If it is very dirty, the filter is likely clogged. If that is all good, then there is likely a malfunction with the transmission that needs fixed.

Anyone run into an intermittent U0100 &P0700 mil and trans. drops into 2nd. and traction, ps, stabilitrac lights all on??
That’s what I’m dealing with
more than likely you have a leak thats getting into the TCM connector. If so the passage sleeve has to be changed.
What’s odd is that I have a OBD scanner plugged in just capture something and the issue hasn’t returned. But when I remove the scanner the codes come back! 🤯
