Hi, if anyone of you is using steam oled and having issues with screen flickering or ghosting around the screen edges. It's because you can't get 1280x720 resolution in the display option. Does installing those modes and deleting certain files as u showed and replace them, does it effect the game in anyway ? Like savings for example or the game files ?
@@mohamedmoustafa6944 I didn't delete any original files, that nvngx.dll was a mod file and I just overwrited it with an original game file.
I applied it but later when played with the setting, suddenly there is blue artifact & my ui icon is glitching, how to fix?
UI flickering fix by setting the resolution same as your screen, so for steam deck 800p. Blue tiles fix by setting texture to low.
I'm new to making any tweaks or mods on the Steam Deck OLED. I recently finally installed cryoutilities and tried the 4GB VRAM boost adjustment and saw a great performance boost for Black Myth Wukong. Upper 50s to 60fps with FSR and frame gen on, low settings, 60hz locked at the system level. If you've compared the two, would you say DLSS mod is better than cryoutilities VRAM adjustment for this game and others?
They go hand in hand and work differently so no need to compare, just use them together.

Delete the mod files (no mod files was overwriting any original files so it's just delete the mod files) and remove the launch options command and you should be good to go. If it doesn't launch still then in the game properties there's an option to verify files. Do that and launch the game again.

How to fix some ghosting(some shaking when camera moves or spinning)?
UI flickering can be fixed by setting the resolution to match the screen 800p and I'm using borderless. Another viewer said windowed worked better for him so you should test them out.
@@GrownUpGamingGUG Not fixed for both borderless or windowed and both 720p or 800p. Windowed works a bit better but still have flickering at bottom. Is there a better fix for that?
The bottom flickering I have that too but it's not that bad for me as it's only the bottom black bar. Most frame generation has its flaws. If you prefer graphics fidelity then you can switch back to built in FSR or TSR.

Thanks for sharing. I was wondering.. is this good practice to lock it at 50 frames or not?
Don't limit frame rate as it causes input latency.

If the game is dx12 and has dlss2/dlss3 natively then it should work.

Thanks bro. I tried it last night but the input latency is what made me keeping the FG OFF. Keeping it locked at 40 FPS currently on OLED Deck. My only hope is to find a way to make it stable 45 FPS at the very least.
Also my game crashed several times using the DLSS mod
Don't limit frame rate as that causes input latency. Try restarting the steam deck if you have crashes. I game 30-60 minute session and have no crashing. I'm not sure if it will crash if I play longer but I don't have the luxury to game that long 😂

I'm guessing you didn't watch the video as I compared the built in fsr+FG and the dlss+FG mod early on in the video 😂 the built in one doesn't get you 60 fps even if you set the lowest settings. You should try it.
@@GrownUpGamingGUGhehe, I saw the video and a lot of your others with dlss mods too.
