Not necessarily. Because even if a lawsuit is valid that line would still be accurate, it's more of a warning. In this context I think a judge would 100% agree it's a SLAPP, but the line IN AND OF ITSELF isn't indicative of it being a SLAPP
38:39 It's not strictly invalid to point out that Allied powers not only committed similar atrocities to the Nazis, but in many cases directly inspired them. However, the correct takeaway from that is to acknowledge and condemn Allied atrocities, NOT to minimize or dismiss Nazi atrocities.
Yeah. Being told Hitler was inspired by the US to do what he did in Germany should result in the response "holy shit how bad were the US towards Jews/Queers/immigrants during the WW1 era?!?" At which point they should be informed that any Japanese citizen or immigrant was arrested and put into prison camps. Their only response then should be "omg the US is vile!" Not "oh so Hitler wasn't THAT radical then"
35:25 Scientology seems to have got tax exempt status in a court settlement in 93, and it was made public when that settlement got leaked in 97. So yes, it was literally RIGHT BETWEEN it happening and it being made public.
@@Wendy_O._Koopa That's ... not what happened nor is it the joke. The joke was that Brian Dunning of Skeptoid shares the last name with someone who created a powerfully memey bit of pop psychology.
Awh that's sad. Meanwhile Viced Rhino got into an argument about the dunning-kruger effect with the ACTUAL dunning. Absolutely incredible (VR isn't an idiot, he ate crow and was humbled)
43:09 Genital mutilation IS evil thank you very much. As a victim of it suffering life long complications as a result of it I fail to see the levity or triviality in this.
The levity is that the old man is there even if the cause is completely unrelated and equally important. You'd hope that people would protest anti-vaxers at the vaccine rally and protest circumcision at the circumcision rally. This is a phenomenon. As an example, I was at a pro-life rally, and a bunch of yellow t-shirted second ammendment advocates showed up. They outnumbered the protesters that were there to rally about abortion. They basically muddied the discussion, which was funny in a dark way. That isn't to say your pain doesn't matter. It does.
This talk has not aged well. I would believe Mike Adams more than these establishment lackeys 😂. We all should know that the “science” has been thoroughly corrupted.
What a profoundly stupid thing to say. Scientists have always been human (i.e. imperfect beings with bias, weaknesses, & bad incentives). There have been ethics issues, lab leaks, bad data, fake data, etc. over the decades. The answer to bad science, isn't religion, it is better science.
Including the line "this lawsuit will take considerable amount of your resources and time", is admitting that the lawsuit falls under SLAPP
In the absence of a federal anti-SLAPP law, whether that matters will depend on which state he filed suit in.

Calling Deepak Chopra "more respectable" made me break out in hives.
His rap name should forever be known as "Woo Tang".
I took it as a joke, but if anyone didn't, no, Brian Dunning of Skeptoid is not the Dunning referenced in the name Dunning-Kruger Effect.
Do you really think someone would do that? Just _pretend_ to be someone they're not on the internet?

I dare you to try ebola water.
@@iivin4233😂😂. Careful the original poster may be dumb enough to do it and contaminate their local water supply with ebola.
@iivin4233 we haven't heard from the original poster so they may have done the dare.
Mike Adams is light years ahead of these idiots😂
