Thanks, from Louisville, these old ones are what I always enjoyed. The difference! My favorite are those Camaros.
My favorite old driver was Jesse Baird.
He was number 3, at old fairgrounds motor speedway. Open 61..to 1980 I think.
    Great memories.

@3:38- Jim Back of Wisconsin. Always ran the #61, painted on the rear quarter panel. Early 70s, lots of asphalt Late Model guys ran Mustangs then.

Bam! 0:09 is Newt Palms 1960's asphalt modified! This car was crazy! The driver sat in the center and straddled he transmission. The brake and clutch were on the left, and the throttle pedal was on the right side on the bell housing. The steering wheel was at a crazy angle to the driver. This car is fully restored and on display at the
PRO Nine motorsports museum in Pawtucket, RI.

My first car was a 1965 Chevelle. White/w black top #15. Only raced it once at 54 Speedway in Yates Center, KS in Sept. 1977. Had a bad wreck. Almost lost my right hand.

At 1:26 All this tight action is going on at the CNE Stadium in Toronto, Ontario. Whatever class this is, it's in a state of transformation with the different types of racing machines involved.

Going back over those because I might have missed something the first time, I find more things to talk about. At 1:08 action aplenty at the old Norwood Arena on US1 near Boston, Mass. It was closed after the 1972 despite the best efforts to keep it open. The #7 car out front is Barney Mattie, while the $ behind him is the great Ed Flemke. Looks like Fats Caruso in the #69 Worcester Sand and Gravel ride that 1970 Daytona 500 winner Pete Hamilton drove before going big time. This was a unique track. It was a quarter mile high bank asphalt track, almost circular in shape.

That Mustang at 2:03 and the Nova at 2:46 are the stuff! The best of dirt and asphalt from the 80’s! I don’t how you do it, but I love it!! Keep going MM!

An Edsel stock car......when Ford fans go rogue. And a Henry J circle tracker first I've seen either on the oval.

The star of Fever Heat was the late Nick Adams. Was filmed at Stuart and Oskaloosa during the 67 racing season. From a book written by Henry Felson.

This music is just some royalty free tunes available for youtube creators to use in their videos! There's so much, it's hard to choose the song, sometimes!
