The Problem is, Crypton only cares about Miku. Yeah. Rin and Len also got V2, Act 2, Append and then V4X. But Voicebank wise Miku is still on the top and as others said: Miku literally got more Merch, more Covers and Originals and so on. EVEN THE MIKU EXPO IS MOSTLY AROUND MIKU. And Miku also only got the NT treatment at first although Crypton said, that the others will get their NT treatment too. But Rin and Len literally collect dust on the shelves, while Luka, Meiko and Kaito are literally playing dead.
I will always miss the old, chunky and robotic teto voice, that’s what made it iconic. But teto is our queen, she really deserves this upgrade and I don’t this the new one is bad. :]
SynthV is great and all. But when you combine it with utau for its full spectrum it's incredible. Some producers have already released some bangers with new and old.
I just learned a new trick where you can render your track in synthV. Then convert it back to UTAU. So we get the tuning capabilities of ai but the sound of utau. Teto is the only one where you can do this with the same vocals so far...

I feel like the talkloid community just needs to expand and possibly explore dynamics between the synths instead of the usual ‘they’re all mean to each other’ dynamic that’s been used in most of them.

Miku Really is one like MEIKO and KAITO and other Chatacters like Namine Ritsu have like lots of Covers and not a lot of love from the companies they are from. I don't think Namine Ritsu has any original songs, same with Lily. MEIKO and KAITO haven't even had an upgrade since Vocaloid 3. Not Counting Luka and Rin and Lens only 2 vocaloid releases Miku has the Majority 😭 Anyway, I love Kasane Teto's new Voicebank!! 😄 Atleast she finally got an upgrade after like 10 years.
