The fighting stance in Muay Thai and Muay Boran is oftentimes overlooked for its simplicity and lack of proper training. In this episode, we provide a basic understanding between the use of modern and ancient Muay Thai stances. These basic differences are noted in order to, not only provide a better understanding of each, but to know when to use them appropriately.

Tbh I have been interested in training in muay boran for over a decade but all that is advertised in NYC and it's boroughs and suburbs is modern muay thai. I honestly prefer muay boran since to me it seems to be more focused on real combat and not sport as how modern muay thai is. I wish muay boran was taught in NY.
