      hey man, im like that with music. Ill hear a new song and b e like "this song fucking sucks" and a month later im like "wait, this songs actually genius!" I just got myself a Sig Romeo Zero for my Glock 43X and ive been practicing my draw all damn day....I literally mean hours and its definitely something that requires TONS of training and I can see why some people might hate it...but like getting good at anything in this world, it requires training and practice. Just like how you have to practice fast drawing and lining up a front sight with a rear sight, a RDS on a handgun is a whole new ballpark that requires that same effort in training and takes time to adjust. Towards the end of the day today I definitely got better and faster at finding the dot. Tomorrow the real test when I actually fire live rounds lmao

      Laflen Kenway no your misunderstanding that video. If you go and check, draw, grip, and initial sight alignment was not too much of a problem but he did struggle still. Why? Because he didn’t know how to regain his sights, transition, and how to work the trigger. He also never had any experience having the gun move in his hand. Airsoft practice is essentially dry fire practice. That’s what he was, a master “dry firerer”. It helps, but you won’t get the full idea and experience without the effects of live ammo.

    • @FellsApprentice
      @FellsApprentice 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@mouthbreather280 but not nearly as drastically as Texas Ghost is saying. Liku adapted to the recoil incredibly quickly. Its barely a speed bump. Not the difference between a video game race and NASCAR

      @MFinGonzo 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dry firing, as mentioned in the video you referenced, can be a great tool to increase accuracy but as you saw in the video if thats all you do you still wont have much when it comes to firing actual live weapons. Yes in the video he gets past that hurdle, but he also had a high quality teacher there focused only on him.

      If you don't like something, you do it more. In life, it makes things that much easier to be done and be done with it.
      In this instance, maybe some random weird ass gun fight situation happens and you are stuck using someone else's gun that has a dot mounted.
      That said, I don't really like dots either. They slightly take away from the core training and make your eyes and brain "lazy". They get too use to using the tech and natural functions slip because of it.

      On a timer, with a group of like minded people critiquing and offering suggestions is the best way to get better.
      Dumping 150 rounds at a target is terrible, and I stopped doing that. I'd rather do reload drills or draw drills, or failure to stops. Less ammo, more useable training time. Win-win.
