It would be better if the the back side of the speaker is on the ported side so if the magnet and the voice coil get hot the cool air coming from the port will cool it off :)

Actually no, this is a 6th order bandpass. If this box is properly tuned , it can cover from 20hz to wide range of frequencies using those 2 seperate ports. This is a beast on its own class💥.

That is bose acoustimass design wayback 1980. It is one of the best subwoofer design. But bose uses two speakers inside which is better than one.

@@anxiety1209 I used from old speaker, Samsung subwoofer 6inches 8 ohms 150watts, just perfect for the enclosure box, it sound like active subwoofer
