Wow I can see how smart Dr Phil is he had everyone fooled into thinking he was a bad liar so no one would suspect him. Ashley seemed like the owner the whole time because she has plausible stories. I love this show and I really appreciate Dr Phil’s ingenuity.
The point of the game though was to convince James that the phone was theirs, therefore Dr Phil failed and Ashley won.

The point was to not be chosen by James. Dr. Phil made it sound as ridiculous as possible so James wouldn't guess it's him. That doesn't mean the stories they tell are real, you dufus.

He was probably lying about some things, like the cat, and "Fuck You" being his morning meditation song, because the point of the game is to throw off James from guessing that it was you. You wouldn't have a dead cat still wearing a collar in a dissection class. Frogs are usually dissected in science class. If you're training to be a veterinarian, you might dissect or practice a surgical procedure on a cat's corpse.
Besides, hairless cats weren't popular until the last few years, and I don't imagine Dr. Phil would've taken any of those courses 40 years ago, when he got his degree in 1976. Besides, he got his PhD in clinical psychology, not medicine.

This Timothy guy is an amazing liar... Spontaneously came up with a list of song names with swear words in them... Was very subtle in his cat story, especially with adding in little details like him and his wife ignoring their daughter's cat request for 2 years etc... And the small engine idea was unique enough to be convincing... Bravo.
