Lots of guys say they'd have a bike but if they got one their wife would say "What the heck have you done". I always tell them nah, she'd say "Finally! I've been waiting for years!". I don't know if whoever is filming is your wife or not but anyways it was fun to see you two smiling and cheering when the bike finally started! 🥰
It was my wife filming. She got really excited when the bike started. The funny thing was during restoration that she was keep asking me, why do you get of work and come home and work again on the bike, don't you want to rest? I told her working on the bike relaxes me , no matter how stupid it sounds 🤣
Great job on a nice looking bike. I hope you are enjoying riding the beast. This inspires me to get the same exact model on the road again. I even have some spare motors for it.
Niiice! I think the starting might have been easier if you waited for the fuel to run down first 🤣 Especially since you have the clear bottle and you can see the bubbles coming up. Wait till they stop!
Hey mate, great job. I've just bought one myself. Looking forward to playing around with it. If you don't mind I may have a few questions to ask please.
Hahaha I don't know either. Remove the engine or the subframe? 😄 My problem is the intake manifolds. They are on with just phillips or JIS head screws, which at almost 30 years old have seized. Can't get an impact driver in there. So it's either: - Destroy the old manifolds and hope that locking pliers can remove the screws or - Remove the engine so an impact driver will fit. Any other ideas?

Good effort, mate 🤟
Nice Job 👍👍👍👍👍....
Friend, hello, very good work. I also have a gsx-r1100w, where did you find manifolds for it? Do you know what bike they might fit?

Nice 1100 resto but, it would be easier to watch without the "music"!
From my understanding, only certain girls from a certain era like this stuff.
Probably due for intake/exhaust valve adjustment. It's a little intimidating the first time but if I can do it, you can too.
Niece bike don’t no about seat cover though 😅
Wooow!!!!
Nice work.
Where did you get parts??? I need a stator bad
Check ebay, lots of sources
Also check CMSNL.com plenty of spares new and in good prices
How the hell did you get the air filter box out and back in?! 🙈
I’ve given up mine for tonight... i'm going to bed! 😏

There was no airbox installed 🤣🤣🤣
You just have to jiggle it, did mine after a couple of attempts.

I want to restore my gsxr 1100
