as a new bowler im kinda tired of marketing every ball as better than the last. Every ball is smoother than X or flippyier than Y
All the staffers and ball reps always say stuff like this and then they record league nights or tourneys and guess what's never in the bag? Lol
Well, bowling tech does in fact change, but I agree. To put a ball as “better” than the last is wack.
@Samuel ya idk why people always say better instead of giving you actual information you can use to dictate why the ball is good 😂 why i think this ball is gonna be good is the numbers on this ball make it seem like it's going to be a house shot monster .49 rg is gonna give it some midlane read with the microtrax cover able to dig for the puddle and the diff at .46 is gonna give it a little extra bounce off the dry. Which will give you a little more forgiveness than something like a zen since the differential is a little higher it makes zen more round than angular off the spot if we are comparing the two. I'll probably take my duo when it gets in to 3k just to give it that little extra blend for the cliff a lot of house shots get
just wait and watch what gets thrown on tour. Zen U was hyped up like crazy but nobody on the pba tour throws it, which is telling

I watched Darren Tang compare this to the Zen, and the only difference I saw was the colors, the ball roll to me looked identical so it’d be interesting to see if you have the same experience

Hey Luis, you should go back and watch the shots paying special attention to the position of your left arm. Your carry percentage is better when you get that arm out there.
This is high praise for the duo because I love my zen.
Zen is so good!
The duo in all honesty doesn't look that great in many reviews I've seen..i know it's the newest ball that has to be hyped up for sales but in no way this ball is going to be preferred over the Zen or exotic gem in any situation...hardly anyone will use this ball in tournaments or league after the hype fades

As a lover of both the Zen and Exotic, I am excited for this. Do you think it will fit in the arsenal with both of them though or are they too similar?
It's too close to the Zen for me, slightly stronger cover and slightly weaker core in comparison. I wish they would have used the eTrax Plus cover from the X2 instead.
You could leave one shiny and put surface on the other. (My suggestion would be surface on the Duo) For me, I have a Zen and Zen Master pairing already.

I'm an older guy with arthritis in my wrists and I had to drop down to an 11lb ball. I tried a 12lb ball and I feel like I'm border line so I'm going to try the 11lb to see if that helps. Will the Hustle USA, Hyped Solid,and the Duo in 11lbs still get me some hooking action on the lane even though they only have the Puck core?

Who said better than Zen? Luis said a tad stronger than Zen because of the cover. He was talking strength putting it between Exotic and Zen, not how good it is.
