Cool one Luis. I ❤️ my BW 3.0. I got it drilled pin down. I picked it up on a Wednesday and threw a USBC tournament that Saturday and rolled a 244 and 229 after shooting 245 with urethane. This Bkack Widow 3.0 reacts well to my speed and release, so I can make it do what I want.
Only ever thrown the BW 2.0 and it was killer. Changed a lot in my swing and the ball just stopped reacting. Gave it to my pops who put a thumb hole in it and he loves it. I swapped it out for the TNT Infused.
Usually i use this as my first ball out in league and on my sport challenge league when its 40 or 41ft, 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 ratio. I love it. My revs are 490 with a speed of about 16mph.
This is my league game 1 ball, I prefer to come up the back on this ball and stand more right. It shapes better this way and leaves less corner pins. I have been able to come back to this ball on game 3 when the oil pushes down and the shiny stuff skids past the pocket. That's when I come around this ball and hit bigger angles as it will have enough bite. I know guys that will let it lane shine or hit it with polish. I've watched guys use this ball for all 3 if not the first 2 games by doing this.
Huh. Is your timing off? Sure looked like you planted way before your release in some of the later shots. Regardless, I use this for the fresh and the cliff mostly. Otherwise, I’m in a symmetric.
I saw the EXACT same thing. That’s why this ball wasn’t hooking much for him. The 3.0 hooks a LOT more than what we saw in this video. I’m medium rev and if I throw it into the friction that early it’s going Brooklyn
Had the very first black widow years ago and the black widow bite, I loved both of those. But my favorite has been the original 2.0 by far. I’ve had 3 of those and it’s been a great ball for me
I have always wanted the hammmer 3.0 but have not gotten one. My favorite was the hammer black widow that was a pearl red. Loved that ball. I asked you couple of weeks ago as to when fall league starts
Good afternoon good morning Lou, I got that 3.0 it hooks if you don't watch out you're brought up loses energy down the lane. Am I correct or am I reading it wrong? My pro shop already operator said it's for heavy oil. It's for oil. Is he right about it or you think? Appreciate the response. I like the ball. It does come back. I like to go left stand left
I haven't gotten a 3.0 - I bowl at Bowlero and they dont know what oil on the lane is. VERY dry house. a couple guys have em, but they're shined up. I do have a 2.0 hybrid which I love. would love to know what you're bowling on, I know you said "house shot" but... that can mean a lot. My house shot in Missouri was soup compared to "house shot" where I bowl now .
@@jasonboness3871 OP's observation was sound. Timing and too much axis rotation on a number of shots affected the ball motion significantly. It explains why you saw strikes on some of the misses in and why the ball flies through the head-pin on some misses right.
BW 3.0 is a solid while 2.0 is shiny hybrid, they dont do the same job. two different balls, I have the 2.0 hybrid and is my weakest ball in the bag. I use it for light / medium oil. I still dont have the 3.0 but I will get it as my strongest for medium / heavy oil. If you need to get either one then I would go 3.0
Bro, that lane is clearly just a CAP/Fill-shot... and more often than not... those CAPs DO NOT clean the back end at all.. and only go down about 40' and go back. Which makes the lane feel like its a 60' pattern. The SOLIDS thrown on that type of open bowling lane setup... DO NOT display the equipments TRUE ability/potential. Just saying!
I have one and it burns up in my backswing, unusable in my house. I even tried to shine it up. Will keep it for sport shots.

1st ball out the bag unless its really oily then it's the Extreme Emvy. Love em both at 1500
Just shot my 1st 300 with it last week.

I already have Black Widow 3.0 since January 2024. I like it. I'm going to get other ball but not same ball.
Great video. I wish you could review envy tour and compare it to similar balls from other companies.
I only have one, the 2.0 Hybrid that came out before the 3.0. I do like it, I've had a few big games with it so far.

my first widow ball is the Black Widow Gold i shoot my first 300 with it last bowling season

The black widow bite was crazy
I still throw the black widow bite as my spare ball on league...like 15 years old

Thank you for making this amazing video about hammer black widow 3.0
Robin morrison from South African good bowling balls 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦👍👍👍👍👋👋👋🎳🎳🎳😀😇😇🙏🙏🇿🇦
I have a dark widow legend that is fantastic
I noticed you were dropping the ball at your feet ?
If there fresh oil down and in on the 2nd arrow usally works well. when it breaks down move left and it hits hard.
Dropped in for the military tourney. Hope I run into you, Luis!
I like the 3.0 but love my 2.0 hybrid!
I'll be in town on Tuesday bro, would love to throw some games with you and Ryan
What balls in the same class as the BW 3.0 do you like better. Loving the honest reviews.
Looks awesome, my alltime fav Black Widow. was the Black Widow Pearl from around 2007 that was a fantastic ball
I agree and I still have one that I dust off once in a while
Good morning Luis napoles
Have one; excellent. Have the 2.0 hybrid; love it, too. Nuff said.
Which one is the best one in your opinion
I have both also. However my 2.0 hybrid was drilled wrong and barely use it. I shot my 1st 300 with 3.0 last week.
Enough said lol, do you throw 150 revs with mph ball speed? It’s trash for high revs.
Should put a piece of tape on your PAP so you can show how the ball migrates through the lane.
If you haven't yet take a look at the black widow 2.0 Hybrid
I always drill Black Widows pin down so they shape more down lane and aren't so lazy.
I drilled mine pin down and it’s a welfare recipient.

My favorite is the black widow Savage. Also the only black widow I've thrown

Luis, your timing was all over the place. Try the ball again when you got your MOJO back
It’s not him it’s the ball, miss right over hooks, miss left and it wiggles

Does the Black Widow 3.0 have the same core in 141bs?
Great ball on challenge and sport shots for me, not so much on my local house shot.
Same, burns up in backswing
@@jasonboness3871 What layout do you have on it? I can play mine no problem on a house shot. Just keep it in the oil
Cool video talk tech bowling ball Luis napoles
Cool video talk tech bowling Luis napoles!
Black widow ghost pearl is my favorite widow of all time. 3.0 is good for the sport shots, to much for my THS.
I have never been impressed with Hammer products. Never. Dating back as far as the original two piece urethane Black Hammer.
What should I buy...
BW 3.0 vs BW 2.0 hybrid???
Can not decide

Are u Brunswick now
He is a free agent.
You're late to the party my guy...best widow is the 2.0hy until the 3.0 pearl comes out
I m a fan of black widow….definitely not gonna buy this wack ass ball. Lol
