Man, I seriously cannot thank you enough. I am new to mixer and Was really struggling to use the software. Your detailed explanations and workflow is incredible. I wish I had found your channel sooner as there is a huge shortage of tutorials for mixer that aren't over 2 years old. Thank you!!
@@ArtofJoseVega If I build a model in 3D Max do I just import straight into Quixcel? Or do I have to do anything with the model in 3D Max? Sorry if that’s a silly question, very new to this 👍🏻
Love your videos man, I’m a new subscriber and I found this very helpful. If you can share us more of this please, more basic stuff will be great 😊 thanks
@@ArtofJoseVega because I was thinking of remeshing this toy car I will photogrammetrize but I wanted to practice using Quixel and I found this video. I would like to see you do a tutorial on this subject in future ! Been sharing them on LinkedIn 🫡
Hello, there are Materials in Quixel Mixer that I would Like in my UE5 scene. How may I export a material from the Mixer library and import the material into UE5. Asking for the material not necessarily the the 3d Geometry.
Thanks for the video! really easy to understand. One issue, when I go to my library to add a texture, if I choose to go to the online tab, all I can do is download. It doesn't appear in my local library. Sound like a bug?
Your tutorial made it much easier to implement a new workflow. And here I thought it would be hard. Thankfully I won't bother with Blender's annoying shading node system.

Is mixer better than blender for texturing
depends on what you are trying to accomplish. mixer is easier for custom textures
All the time chrasing this program for quixel mixer
Bro quick question have you tried texturing a customized photogrammetrized model?
not yet cause normally i would not need it but sounds interesting

Loved this tutorial
Is it necessary to decimate the model and increase the poly count before texturing into mixer?
in most cases is just easier to deal with lower res models

I doubt it would've been a very good light machinegun, not until you could swap the barrel.
👍
he should resign, let Freeland take over so she can tank the party and herself. she'll be worse than Justin
