One of their best songs. The whole Let the Ocean Take Me album is about Joel’s (screamer) mental problems.
This song came off of him being so uncontrollably drunk at a show that he nearly died from a mixture of alcohol poisoning and heat exhaustion.

This song forever resonates with me and has a physical, emotional, and mental effect. I get chills and instantly have tears flow. This song got me through my mom's short lived battle with cancer. Everyday I visited her at the hospital, and finally at a hospice facility this song was on repeat in my car. Miss you mom..

All Fucked Up by these guys really got me through a dark time in my life. I literally never cried so damn much in my life before like I did last year. My best friend Maya showed me All Fucked Up. And honestly Maya and All Fucked Up played big rolls in saving my life, and saved me from wanting to take my own life. I was hesitant about watching All Fucked Up music video because I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. But one day I caved in finally and watched it and honestly I wasn’t expecting what I watched at all. It shows a big message on what us people go through every. It sent out a very powerful message. Never abandon your brothers and sisters. Check it out. I bawled like a little baby.

Yes! Love seeing people react to The Amity Affliction. This song was actually written and entitled "Pittsburgh" because at Warped Tour 2013 in Pittsburgh (burgettstown actually but close enough) the main vocalist Joel (the screamer/dirty vocalist) was drinking heavily that day and it was super hot out and he ended up having a seizure and being hospitalized so he wrote this about how he felt in that time. I was actually at that warped tour and was waiting for them to come on and they announced they wouldn't be able to perform but didn't say why. I was super bummed as a huge fan but we didn't know why til later. It was heartbreaking to hear later what had happened. He's turned himself around and is much better now. Another great song of theirs is "Drag the lake" as well as their trilogy music video series called the misery trilogy which goes "Ivy (doomsday)" "Feels like im dying" and then "D.I.E." hope to see more reactions of these guys❤

I just found your channel through a search for night terrors, and then I saw this video which I clicked on because I live in Pittsburgh now. Before saying anything else, I just have to say those are super cute headphones! Really good analysis of this song and I can tell it really moved you. I was initially turned off by that screaming vocal in the beginning, but this is one of the first songs with that type of vocal that I could appreciate by sticking with it. It reminded me a little bit of Crawling by LINKIN PARK, which would be another great song for your show. Having played drums for the last eight years, I can say that the Drummer is a real virtuoso in this band. Aside from that all of the other instruments are fantastic as well. Thanks for sharing this video and doing the work that you are doing. I was helped by you this morning. I would just suggest that you find a way to turn down your mic volume or turn up the music volume as I was toggling back-and-forth to hear the music louder. (I also have a great song which you might be interested in - you would know within the first 20 seconds if it appealed to you. Let me know if you want to hear it.)

For the longest time i've always been in a dark place ever since my grandmother passed away in 2014, and that was the year where my dad became the most a-holish person on earth, for the last 10 years i've been nothing but made feel worthless..thank god him and my mother broke up in 2019, but still to do this day he's always try to make me feel worthless mentioning my weight and guilt tripping me saying im gonna end up like my grandmother, and my uncle who passed in 2017, all because im near 300 lbs, which i'll admit, isn't healthy, but i'm 6 ft 1 and i'm very active, Love your videos and just watching you make me feel like im in a different place where i dont feel worthless, Thanks 💗❣❤‍🔥

As a bigger follow of Amanda ( she saved my life in alot of ways) you are never worthless and people that make you feel that way aren't worth it. You are here for a reason. I don't know you but I do feel your pain, I have my own. We all have different pain but at the end of the day. " It is pain". We don't choose this or ask for it but it is there. So tomorrow is another day we get to be alive. Another day we can do something to help others or ourselves. The sun will rise and who knows what the tide might bring. Love ya. Keep your mind set up

The singer sounds a LOT like Dustin Bates of Starset, whom I'm a fan of. They're not the same stylistically, but there are some similarities! (Any Starset fans here)? Cool track. This band also reminds me of a certain other band I'm quite fond of....

It took 20 years for the lead singer to actually perform that song live. Its a true story about him and a babysitter. Difficult song to listen to

I love this song, however most Mental conditions are caused by everything in our reality, the chemicals in our food supply, our water, our beauty products, the heavy metals in our environment right down to the vibrational frequency of music at A 440hz, meant to drive you insane, a heavy metal detox and a change of diet and going all natural will help end many of societies mental issues
