- As a frequent commuter with a pretty long train ride each week, I am always looking for ways to make the ride less boring, more comfortable, and more productive. Being able to relax and allow someone else to transport me to my work place is a luxery, which I very much appreciate. Not having to deal with the stress of traffic and the wear on my car is really nice, but... riding public transportation without some sort of distraction is a drag too. So, we read, we scroll on our phones, we work on our laptops, we talk on the phone. How do we ramp up our productivity during this time? We turn our cell phones into a 135 inch monitor, completely private, and able to fulfill all of our productivity and entertainment needs. Enter @Viture Pro XR/AR Glasses - a commuter's best peripheral device for all of these needs. Come and see what we think of this product after trying it out for a month!

Thank you for your support Rico - this was a great review, we're so glad you're enjoying VITURE Pro! 😎
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it. Sorry I don't like the app very much, but the functions I used them for during my commute were great!
this is probably the most honest and unbiased review on these glasses, thank you so much for making this! i commute 2 hours daily, so my use case is very similar to yours. Glad to see you touch on both the pros and cons of the device, along with all the other tech recommendations (bluetooth mouse, foldable keyboard, etc.). Just waiting for the shipping times now 😭
Thank you for the kind words! I am glad you found this helpful. My commute is 2 hours also and I find that it makes the time go by very quickly. The glasses ship from China, so for me it took about a week to arrive. Pretty decent shipping times, actually. Have a great day!
Just got mine today so videos such as yours are invaluable to me. Particularly as we are of a similar age. Thank you very much for taking the time to make and post your excellent video. Have, of course liked and subscribed. Cheers bruv from across the pond Toodle Pip!
Awesome and Congrats! I hope you love it! Thanks for the kind words and the sub. I appreciate it very much!
@Rico.at.50 You are more than welcome thank you very much for your rapid reply to my comment, enjoy your day bruv, bye bye for now.
I liked this commuter's perspective of the glasses. Thanks. Keeping your head up straight without looking down constantly must be a great experience. Ergonomics has to be a great benefit of these glasses.
Hi! Sorry I didn't answer sooner, I've been out of the country on vacation. Yes! One of the things I like is that I can just put my head back and still see the screen right in front. Definitely helps relax!
Thanks. you're the first review I've seen WITH reading glasses
You're welcome. Hopefully you found my review helpful. Thanks for stopping by!
@@Rico.at.50 you're welcome. Do you feel a need to get prescription lenses for the Viture pros? Or do you feel like adjusting the dials on the unit with your current subscription is enough?
I am really nearsighted, so I was concerned when I first got these that I would have to get prescription lenses put in. Fortunately, with them cranked to the max, they work for me. If my eyesight worsens I might have to reconsider, but for where I am right now they're ok. Without my glasses I am virtually blind to anything up close, so that should tell you how effective the adjustment is.
I love your reviews, you find the coolest things! Very helpful, thank you.
You're welcome and thanks for the kind words and for stopping by! Have a great day!
nice review, saw around 10 already but all were very biased, thanks mate
I bought this myself and tested it without any influence. It's great for the purposes I need it for. The app is horrible tho, sadly. Thanks for stopping by!
So much better with a Samsung phone . Dex is so much better than screen mirroring no need to use spacewalker 😊
@@euanmontgomery4936 agreed! The Spacewalker app didn't suit my needs at all
I think you need to take Spacewalker in perspective to not having it. Which is what you get with other AR glasses. This is a small company, I think based on their size and the fact that they are offering a nice device, they did a great job. I’m hoping more people discover how cool these are and I’m pretty sure they would continue to use the extra sales to make their software better.
I'm sure it's great for its purpose but it doesn't work for me. I also really didn't like using the phone as a remote. I'm sure there's a lot of personal preference here, but for my use case it wasn't helpful. Thanks for your thoughts!
Thanks for your review! I'll been lookin these for the fore a while, but I can't get a good answer from anywhere. How would these work with over ear headphones like Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra etc.? The power/data plug is the issue, some say its so far back of the temples they don't get in the way of ear cups of the headphones and some say they cannot be used with over ear headphones.
I tested this out with my headphones. The wire does go underneath the ear cups, however; the cups I have are soft, so just go over it without any problems. The wire runs underneath and the plug is in the cup cavity, so it doesn't seem that it will be too much of a problem. Now, that's with my headphones. I don't know what kind you have, but it seems that it would be pretty similar.
@Rico.at.50 I have those Bose I mentioned. I have similar comment from a another reviewer, so I might just pull the trigger with these. Thanks again for your comment!
I use a Mac and have been trying to stand more instead of sitting, but I end up with neck pain from looking down at the screen. I’m thinking that getting glasses might help with this.
@henrykhosasih8781 it might help. I can just put my head back and read. It really does Llown you to relax more.
for phone its paired well with samsung dex
I'll check it out, thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to make a video on these. But I can't help wondering what that wild hologram looking thing is over your head in the second part of the video.
Well, of course, I made a video on that too lol. Here's the link:

I got it from Amazon here. The price has gone up a little since I made the video:

@@Rico.at.50Oh great, even better. Somehow I missed that one. Thanks for the link
usb c to 2x usb c split for power and data have existed forever and cost like 10$ on amazon
Thanks! I bought one and it didn't work.
Could you share where you got the cool 3D display on the back wall?
Sure: Here's a video about it -
th-cam.com/video/jO5AuGCDfo4/w-d-xo.html
And I got it here:

Thanks for the great video. Just a constructive feedback ... the thing behind you showing some graphics is very distracting :) at least for me.
Thanks for your thoughts! I meant for it to be a distraction. If you noted the card that popped up during the video, it linked to another video about that device. Simply a breadcrumb to drive content. I'm sorry you found it a distraction, I have had many others that have wanted to know more about it.
I'm glad you found the information about the glasses helpful! Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Rico, I”m interested in that hologram thing playing over your head in background. Can you provide a link to where you got it?
Sure! I made a video on that too lol. Here's the link:

Have you tried connecting them to a laptop? I'm interested in these for productivity, and you can use them as virtual multiple monitors. Would you say it's a reasonable alternative to physical monitors for home use?
You can connect them to a laptop if it has a USB-C port. I would not say it's a vialble alternative to physical monitors because there is some physical discomfort when used for several hours. But for temporary use it could certainly be used for that.
@@Rico.at.50 would love to see a video where you try using them with a laptop at home instead of normal monitor setup! I'm intrigued because the cost of the glasses is comparable to getting 2-3 decent monitors anyway, and with the glasses you could configure or place them however you want.
Hi Rico im a developer. Do you think you could coding and browsing the internet confortly for a couple of hours ?
@@schummy3000 I think a couple of hours would be fine. I used it on the airplane for a couple of hours with no problem! Thanks for stopping by!
If you're looking for ar glasses that are meant for productivity, you could take a look at the 'Immersed Visor'.
@@noncompulsoryl ill look into it, thanks!
@@noncompulsorylThey are doing a reveal 19th September but you won't get one until next summer (unless you pre-ordered Founder Edition). It's a long wait.
Phillip.
@philliptemple9841 Appreciate it, thanks for the info.
Thank you for this review. I was interested in using this for typing on Google docs. Have you had experience doing that? Does the picture in the glasses just mirror what is on your phone for typing? Or is there native support for word processing apps?
@koba2802 I have used it for exactly that purpose using a Bluetooth keyboard. It works great! The picture just mirrors the phone screen,.
@@Rico.at.50 thank you for the reply.
@@Rico.at.50 Thanks again. I forgot to ask if I would need to purchase any accessories besides the Bluetooth keyboard to type for Google docs? Any adapters or dongles to connect to the Android phone?
@koba2802 you'll want to buy their usb splitter too. It's pricey at $50, but it's proprietary, so no other option. That allows you to charge the phone while using the glasses. I also have Bluetooth earbuds and a mouse to use with it.
Did you get a controller with the glasses
The glasses do not come with a controller, but any bluetooth device will work alongside it. I use either a kybd/mouse combo or a bluetooth controller, depending on what I am doing.
@@Rico.at.50 I'm just saying because Amazon implies that you can get it with it, but doesn't show in my order.
@@omegafire6253 I don't know what the offering was from Amazon for this, so I can't expand on that. I bought mine directly from the company.
FYI - I just bought this a couple weeks ago (this company's store on Amazon) and it came with a free controller (it's almost exactly like the Nintendo controller).
@@bkulber1 I bought a bluetooth controller and tried it out and it worked really well. Nice that they have a bundle package now. Thanks for stopping by!
Are these better than Xreal 2's ?
I don't know. I haven't tried those and have way to compare. Sorry!
Those keyboards are shite. Get an apple magic keyboard, they are tiny enough to fit in laptop bag or backpack
Seems to work ok for me. Sorry your experience left you with a bad impression.
