You say that but that Rams Patriots super bowl that was one field goal between two teams for almost the entire game was one of the worst football games I ever saw
The issue is with the intensity on the floor. Go watch a Euroleague game and then watch an NBA. While in the NBA the skills and athleticism are noticeably higher the Euroleague games are more exciting because it's simply more intense. Rosters tend to rotate at a higher rate as well so rather than having 5 guys playing 35+ minutes every other night and 3 bench players who play 10 to 15', you have 8 guys who play 20 to 25' each. Games are shorter allowing for players to keep their intensity for a longer period... also less games. Making for a better show despite the individual gap between NBA players and Euroleague's.
There’s no variety in the NBA anymore when it comes to the players.. back in the early 2000s you had “3 point specialists”… 6th men.. Floor general PGs..Dirty workers (like Rodmen or Big Ben Wallace).. slashers.. lockdown defenders… knock down Mid Range shooters.. low post scorers.. Rebounder/shot blockers (like Marcus Camby or Alonzo Morning) ..players were more coachable and had a certain roll on a team (if you weren’t the superstar).. nowadays everyone just stands at the 3 point line waiting to shoot
Today's game consists of: Rebounders, Dribblers, and 3pt shooters. That's it, that's all the variety you get. If you can't shoot 3s or catch lobs you become a 'cardio corner occupier', your job is to run up and down the court and stand in the corner.
@ 100% correct! And nearly every team plays the same exact way.. back in the day you have different styles of teams because they had actual head basketball coaches (Larry Brown, Don Nelson, Pop, Rick Carlisle, Jerry Slone, pat Riley, Phil, Jackson, Hubie Brown, Mike D’antoni, George Carl, Jeff Van Gundy.. etc.) instead of the “Superstar manager/team Babysitter” head coaches in todays NBA
@@BIGZphillybirdfan Facts, the game lacks variety. The PlayIns and In-Season Tourney are fun, but that doesn't fix the fact that the game is still a shooting contest and not a game of basketball. Make the game more resemble the game the rest of the world plays, let the players compete instead of play shooting contests.
Gotta love it, the same MEDIA who has been slobbering all over the 3 PT shot for YEARS and how great it is and Steph changed the game, etc etc is now talking about the game is broken and too many 3s.
Please note that it is the elite 3pt shooting is admired and praised (Steph, Klay, KD, Harden). No one wants to watch Julius Randle, Vucevic and Brook Lopez shooting 7 threes a game. Once that happens then they'll start making changes.
I second this. Lack of effort and the lack of skill being pushed. We barely see elite footwork or shot creation these days. Most bigs are USELESS with their back to the basket. Add to that the lapsed defense and having below average shooters throwing up 6+ threes a game. Of course we gonna hate the product. Most of the things done in an NBA game these days can be almost replicated by anyone with decent coordination. Cuz people want normal scoring games, not either of the two extremes...I guess its a constant balancing act and its time to do something about these ridicoulous rules again now, 40-50 threes a game is just too much
@@JGisMe2013it actually does lol. You get a million fouls for anything, so no one wants to play defense. It actually would help ………. People been complaining about that rule change making scoring easier. Most def would help bruh ………..
The game has changed. Everybody want to be Steph curry. Until you have a team that’s winning chips not shooting crazy volume 3s every team will say 3 is the way to win and the argument will always be 3 is greater then 2. So even if a team wins playing mainly inside they will probably not change the 3
It's an effort issue. There is no defense. AT least it doesn't seem to be a priority and it's too catered to the offense. It's not just the 3s attempts, necessarily. IF you have an open shot, take it after good ball movement. Another interesting reason might be when they lowered the shot clock from 24 to 14 after an offensive rebound. It doesn't seem like a lot, but that might be a contributor as to the higher scoring. I see go back to the 24 shot clock and go back to 10 second half court rule as opposed to the 8 second. Doesn't seem like much, but I think that might help.
THE SCORING IS TOO HIGH!!!?? YET YOU CHANGE THE RULES TO DIMINISH/EXPLOIT THE DEFENDERS EFFORTS AND BENEFIT THE OFFENSIVE PLAYERS??! NOW YOU'RE SAYING WHAT YOU DID WAS A PROBLEM....DUHHHHHH, ANYTHING TO LAST IN LIFE NEEDS BALANCE!!!!
Stand three guys on the perimeter and hot potato the ball around defenders until one gets an open look. Thats every play in the modern NBA now. It’s too predictable.
The issue is the elite players are more skilled to the current game. The rule changes have to encourage strategies more so than benefitting the offense and increasing scoring. For instance, I believe 3 secs violations for players sitting in the corner all day would add movement to the defense. 1 and 1 for shooting fouls until the bonus would speed the game up. Items like this encourage strategies and makes the game more chess than tic tac toe
This is such a stupid scapegoat. If you actually watch games , defense is being played across the board, but when the talent is as high as it is, there’s only so much defenses can do. The main issue is the amount of rules set in place for the offensive player to have the advantage. They need to bring back hand-checking.
Scoring not necessarily the issue, competitiveness is the issue. Games aren’t competitive. The secondary issue is the style of play and lack of perimeter defense.
What Joe said, basically defense is not entertaining, yes it is… yes scoring is more but you can’t try to imply rules to benefit one or the other… it’s what happens on the court and that’s it
The blatant miss calls of travels, carries, even double dribbles. Many are realizing it’s just entertainment and not real. The dopamine is not sparking like before.
Adam Silva's perspective has brought these negative cons: Tanking, (now is accepted and expected) player movement, (the absolute worst con which has empowered the players but made everyone less competitive) bad refereeing, (ticky tack fouls, game decided by refs instead of players, too many ejections for trivial stuff) weak defense, (which is why there is no competition in the game) load management, (healthy players sitting on the bench is completely unacceptable) guaranteed contracts, (which is why there is no accountability by the players) foul baiting, (always been but became egregious under Adam) player accountability, (Coaches get the blame when the players don't play good) online gambling, (One of the reasons I think there is bad refereeing) Over valuing players, (players now don't care about fines, or competing at the highest level because of it) focus on chosen players, (too much focus on European players and players not having the best image of the league at the forefront) and Adam Silva's complete lack of accountability, (he is even less accountable than the players and he is actually too weak to be in management of anything). He just wants to make money and has no love for the game. All he had to do was maybe do one or two tweaks but he decided to change the game completely. He will never look at the game from the fans' perspective but purely from a greedy CEO/managerial perspective. Now everyone wants to say it is the 3 pointers but that is their way of saying Steph Curry ruined the game rather than the KIng and his player movement. Lebron will always get the credit but never accountability.
1 problem no one talks about in sports is players in teams change too much. In all sports, however in basketball and baseball is superteams. There's only a few teams that ever have a shot to win. Too many bad teams is what you end up with.
It’s something magical watching the mid range game that players like Kobe and Jordan and Durant displayed. It’s nothing magical about running down and jacking up a 3 unless you Steph curry and adding swag with it. The problem is you got too many people trying to be like Steph curry and fail miserably so the quality is bad. I think that’s why Kobe is so high on people’s list even though the numbers don’t match is because of the eye test
It’s really simple. STOP HANDICAPING DEFENDERS. No ones is saying let’s go back to the 80s and 90s but you have to allow defenders to impact the game too, it’s completely one sided the way it’s called.
Anybody who don’t think it’s an issue just look at the all star game. Theres a reason they are constantly changing it up because nobody wants to see 20 point games and no defense
remove the 3 pointer, bring back hand checking, reduce quarter length to 10 minutes, make the shot clock 20 seconds, reduce timeouts to only 4 total for the whole game for each team, and reduce timeouts to 30 seconds. this would make the nba more exciting.
Stop the Fake narrative.. ppl playing Defense...REFS just picking and choosing who they want them a offense machine..Boston and most team trying to copy GSW point blank period..! Now all young players trying to do and don't have the talent..That 80s 90s mid range slow pace doesn't sell tickets...no fooling nobody! The only reason NBA go bigger and bigger contracts because of Steph Curry performances..old players jealous and owners Mad because Gsw franchise continues to profit..8.4 billion 1#
Maybe a change in court dimension (length and width) only a couple of feet, is needed to address the 3pt. issue (only the real good % players would attempt a three) and would leave more space for offense and defense to adjust in the court.
It’s what happens when there’s literally 5-6 teams with all the wing players , 3-4 centers , 4-5 Pf and some teams are desperate for just one wing , teams like Minnesota or okc shouldn’t be able to stack talent by tanking multiple seasons in a row
Why businesses never listen to the people actually paying 😂😂😂 Edit: Footballer Player/Fan here, we want to see big hits and grown man football. Don’t give af about if the score 100-107 in the NFL
Don't fall for the pump fake. They scored more in the 80's and early 90's with less 3 point attempts. They moved three point line up and everyone started chucking up three point shots.
The real reason the NBA is struggling ratings-wise is because the massive Supernova stars (LBJ, KD, Steph, Russ, CP3) are dying/burning out and its unsure who will be the replacement. Star driven league has to have it's star(s).
Man I miss post up players like Larry Johnson, Amare Stoudemire and the likes, what about mid range like Kobe, MJ, Carmelo, Iverson and so on. And the main problem is that teams are continue to shoot the 3 even if they don't make them, is crazy out there!
With all the 3s attempted, the nba teams scoring avg haven’t increased, the avg 3 pt % is the same it was in 2006 at 36% … more 3s are attempted but doesn’t mean they go in lol
It's very different because in basketball you have more points by design of the sport from the beginning. The NFL, NHL, MLB and soccer are low scoring sports by original design.
You all were praising the GS Warriors when they have been doing this in the last 10 years. Celtics just took that to a next level. What are they going to do, limit the amount of 3 point shooting players per team.?! Its ridiculous.
Scoring is up in all sports because the rules have changed. In football i prefer a good running game that opens up the passing game. In the NBA the rules have changed that tamps down the defensive side of the game.
IMO the main issues are too many 3’s and not enough defense. The media saying “who cares it’s just the regular season” to anyone or any team that does something good. Too many streaming sites if I buy league pass I should be able to watch EVERY game no matter what.
It's an officiating issues!! It hurts the game ability to be balance. Offense will still be high but if the games are officiated with more leeway towards playing defense then you will a more competitive outcome.
Every player, every team plays defense. It's the level of effort we should be concerned with - people always mistake lack of effort with “no or half-a** defense.” We have the oldest player in the league still doing chasedown blocks, and a lot of you want to claim that there’s NO DEFENSE being played in the NBA. All of you are casual fans I swear.
How bout the defenses just play better? The NFL had this same controversy and the defenses stepped up. Even the Chiefs who won the Super Bowl their defense stepped up
The 3pt basket was implemented circa 1980 and didn’t play a role until 35 years later. It will kill the NBA. Why score 2 when you can score 3. In football, a touchdown is 6. Run it in or throw it or pick 6, worth only 6. In soccer or hockey, a goal anywhere is 1. In baseball, a hr or moving runners base by base is scored as 1. Just get rid of the 3 pt line. Play basketball!
We need to stop fronting, the NBA changed the game with the rules and the 3 point shooting (NOT Steph Curry) All the rule changing did was benefit Curry the most because he is a great shooter
David Stern should not had changed the rules to increase scoring because that was never an issue tbh. From a fan perspective, nba is boring now.. its so easy for guys to score 30 points left and right.. back in the early 2000’s whoever had a 30 points game was considered a hell of a game because it was harder to score.
The NBA needs to do 2 things. 1. Allow harder and more physical defense 2. The refs need to call all those travels, carries etc Do that and teams will barely be scoring 100 ppg
The problem is y'all aint defending, Joe. Thats why people are complaining about scoring being too high. Yall not defending in the regular season, which means yall dont contest and compete and people think the game sucks. So when the say "scoring is too high" thats what we mean. Nobody would have a problem with 140-140 games if yall actually competed in them.
It be funny that all the nba players start playing like they from the 80s/90s only getting 80-92 points a game and why match ppl like SAS still have a problem with it 💀
This isn't going to work because more and more players are taking deep threes than ever. They'll adjust to the new line, but the spacing will be even more insane because now the defenders have to step an extra foot away from the basket... And especially if you widen the court as well, that's an insane amount of space at players disposal which will make defending harder, not easier. What i would do is eliminate the corner 3... That's the biggest problem. Because right now NBA teams can put some scrub who can only shoot threes at 38% in the corner, and it gives them a huge spacing advantage because it's hard to defend the drive while recovering all the way to the corner... If you remove the corner 3, then teams can still use this same tactic if they want, but if the shooter hits the shot, it's only 2 points instead of 3, which is a big difference. It isn't as punishing. You now have to do the math if the spacing is worth it or not. Maybe you bring the shooter away from the corner and plant him outside on the 3pt line, but then it's easier to defend him because there's less distance to cover.
@ To a degree pushing it out does make for more 2 points. I just think there needs to be a degree of difficulty added to the game. Anything that makes the players play less defense or play less period has really aggravated the fans…
So after MJ retired, ratings went down big time. David Stern and Adam Silver determined they wanted scoring to go way up, so they changed the rules to do so. Nobody is mad at the increase in scoring. They're mad at the quality of the product. I don't want to see 7'4" dudes on a 3 on 1 fast break running to the 3 point line, instead of trying to throw it down. I don't want to see flopping being rewarded. I don't want to see guys not even get breathed on, yet a foul is called. I don't want players literally telling us before the season starts that they have no interest in playing every game and will take nights off. Fans aren't dumb. The ratings are showing what we think of the current product. Bring back 90s NBA rules. I'd rather see that than today's 3 point contest, disguised as an NBA game.

💯💯💯
NBA should learn from FIBA, make the game more uniform instead of NBA $$$ Generating gimmick basketball. Make the game more resemble the game the rest of the world plays, let the players compete instead of play shooting contests.
thank you Lowkey for your high intelligence
Gotta love it, the same MEDIA who has been slobbering all over the 3 PT shot for YEARS and how great it is and Steph changed the game, etc etc is now talking about the game is broken and too many 3s.
Please note that it is the elite 3pt shooting is admired and praised (Steph, Klay, KD, Harden). No one wants to watch Julius Randle, Vucevic and Brook Lopez shooting 7 threes a game. Go into the paint and use your physicality. What's worse is that we have guys way down the bench shooting a bunch of 3s at a below average clip. That's the problem. Horses for courses. Not everyone can do what Steph and those do. And it very often looks terrible when they try.
@abh4939 i get it steph is special, but that's not the lesson learned by coaches gms and sports media. Which is why you've got 7ft 5 wemby shooting 8 3s a game and a physical freak like ant Edwards shooting 12 a game instead of using their gifts
@@travissmith6380 exactly my point. They've stripped away individuality and playing to players' strengths all in the name of analytics. Just around a decade ago we had the warriors, spurs with crazy ball movement. We had grit n grind in Memphis. Lob City in LA. Defensive powerhouses like Indy and Bulls. Now all these teams look pretty much the same. It's boring as fk. Especially with the low effort and intensity we see on court most nights.
@@abh4939 Brook Lopez it make sense since he is older and he has the most dominant interior force in the league playing next to him. Ppl like you just say BS without proper context. The other 2 I agree
Also Brook is having a lot of PNR scoring from Giannis and Dame
@@paquinraino8180 while this is true re: giannis. Look at the number of mismatches created when Lopez goes on the post. With his girth and length he could get EASY buckets down low. Especially now with ppl having to stay tight on Dame and the other guys who are running hot last few weeks. This isn't a lack of context, its facts
Here is a solution dont call a foul everytime someone is touch😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The problem is the effort of the players during the regular season, the players availability during the regular season and the lack of allowable defense in the current game. Nobody takes the regular season serious anymore and its starting to show in the ratings which in turn will eventually start to hit the revenue as well.
We used to admire guys who seemed superhuman for their defensive efforts, footwork, athleticism and dog mentality. Most nights it looks like these guys are just out there clowning around.
@@abh4939 You're just yapping. No footwork and Big are Useless with their back to the basket?
You have Sengun, Sabonis, Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, AD, Wemby, KAT whi all have footwork ( as bigs because every guard has footwork unless you don't know what it is) and they all can play back to the basket. Some of them prefer doing it like Barkley (Giannis/Jokic) and some of them prefer face up post game a la Timmy/KG
@@paquinraino8180 man called 6 bigs. keep going please. I can call 30 bigs between 05 and 12 that had elite footwork and went to work in the paint. What footwork does the average NBA guard show these days? triple threat jab step and the occasional euro step? come on man. I'm not saying that they aren't players who can't do what I'm talking about. I'm saying the skill is no longer being developed and practised like before. these dudes' games are being diluted because so much emphasis is being put on ppl shooting beyond the arc. Tatum and ant can get buckets at all 3 levels yet we see them shooting 10+ threes a game. When it comes off it looks good but many times it looks disastrous.
@@paquinraino8180 you're only speaking of stars. I'm talking about league average players. Stars will do what stars do. That's why they are stars.
Imagine throwing towards the end zone at the 50 yard line and you get 10 pts for the touchdown instead of 6. This is equivalent of what the NBA has done to change the game fundamentally. The two pt basket is gone. Go get 3.
The problem isnt increased scoring the problem is the lack of competitiveness
Idc about the scoring, what sucks is that it seems like there are far more blowouts. One team is either on fire from 3 and theyre dominating or theyre having an off night from 3 and getting blown out. Its kinda lame to watch
Yo nobody wants to watch game 140 to 150 with a gazillion threes launched, gets played out.
the problem is not the scoring, it is the lack of diversity between in offense.
Defense ****
@ I meant offense all the teams in the league run all the same plays. It’s a copycat league everyone looks the same
@@Joshua-qc1li bruh …. Scoring is up lol. The problem is no one plays defense lol. So people get wide open 3s and chuck all day.
refs give the advantage to offensive players

When there’s low scoring games you complain when there’s high scoring games you complain
My point exactly. There's no winning
Human brain always complains never satisfied
I don’t remember anyone ever complaining about a low scoring game
Cuz people want normal scoring games, not either of the two extremes...I guess its a constant balancing act and its time to do something about these ridicoulous rules again now, 40-50 threes a game is just too much
@@TheRealMichaelPyou weren't born when they were complaining
easy fix, bring back hand checking
That doesnt fix anything 🥴
@@JGisMe2013it actually does lol. You get a million fouls for anything, so no one wants to play defense. It actually would help ………. People been complaining about that rule change making scoring easier. Most def would help bruh ………..
We need handcheking rule to come back as soon as possible 🙏🏾 😤👌🏾!
2004 Pacers vs Pistons best defensive series I seen and loved all 6 games
Preach!
The game has changed. Everybody want to be Steph curry. Until you have a team that’s winning chips not shooting crazy volume 3s every team will say 3 is the way to win and the argument will always be 3 is greater then 2. So even if a team wins playing mainly inside they will probably not change the 3
That's Why The Thunder Needs To Win A Championship, To Bring Balance Back To The NBA Because They Shoot The Least Amount Of Threes In The NBA
@@broncosstampede494 ??? The thunder are closer to the top than the bottom
The issue is no team is going to win a championship if they are not near the top in 3 point shooting
Nuggets played different when they won
That wont change anything, Nuggets already won and they dont shoot a ton of 3’s.
They can hop potato cause there’s no such thing as defense now lol. They double team for no reason, everyone’s open just chucking 🤣
Items like this encourage strategies and makes the game more chess than tic tac toe
because nobody plays DEFENSE. except Houston and Atlanta.
There's always been players that didn't play def lol
This is such a stupid scapegoat. If you actually watch games , defense is being played across the board, but when the talent is as high as it is, there’s only so much defenses can do.
The main issue is the amount of rules set in place for the offensive player to have the advantage. They need to bring back hand-checking.
@@witfurd1034 Then they act like this is the only time where players didn't play def. There have always been players that didn't play def
Boston has played good D the past few years as well.
Defense is a Will issue. That’s on the teams to instill that and push that.
@@witfurd1034 Agree. The people claiming no defense is being played are old heads who arent actually watching games.
It’s stupid!! If they changed the rules and teams are scoring less points, then they’ll complain there is less points scored.
Try this at the All-Star game, each team has only 30 3-point attempts. After 30 attempts, where ever they shoot the ball will only count as 2-points.
Scoring up is not the problem, 3 after 3 after 3 is the problem. Also, the nfl makes adjustments and succeeds, the nba should take notes
The point of the game is to score the most points. Ain’t nobody tryna watch a game where teams only score 75-80 points
1 problem no one talks about in sports is players in teams change too much. In all sports, however in basketball and baseball is superteams. There's only a few teams that ever have a shot to win. Too many bad teams is what you end up with.
That first half with Houston and OKC was great imo.
Passing the ball travels quicker than a player can move.
Either the players are TOO SHORT OR TOO SLOW to play defense.
It’s really simple. STOP HANDICAPING DEFENDERS. No ones is saying let’s go back to the 80s and 90s but you have to allow defenders to impact the game too, it’s completely one sided the way it’s called.
This is why the NBA should of never started changing the rules of the game
IT'S A EFFORT LEVEL.... THE BETTER YOU ARE ON OFFENSE THE MORE YOU GOTTA PLAY DEFENSE THROWING A HAND UP IS NOT A HONEST CONTEST
Or you can just watch the wnba for all that
Yall didn't want I'd moved when LeBron was shooting them. Take away the 3 point shooting then take away every 3 point shot that's was in a stat
Remove the three point line. End of discussion. Every bucket should be worth the same. 2 points.
I dont take these entertainment sports seriously anymore, especially basketball
Take the 3 point away like the old days 😂😂
Why businesses never listen to the people actually paying 😂😂😂
Edit: Footballer Player/Fan here, we want to see big hits and grown man football. Don’t give af about if the score 100-107 in the NFL
New rules don't encourage defense anymore. And physical defense is forbiden.
90's : " I LOVE THIS GAME "
2024: " IT'S JUST A GAME "
Do people remember the Knicks vs Heat days back in early 2000's. They cried that the league was to physical, too stagnent, "NOT ENOUGH SCORING" lol
Stopped watching full games, watch highlights only now
Don't fall for the pump fake. They scored more in the 80's and early 90's with less 3 point attempts. They moved three point line up and everyone started chucking up three point shots.
When you mess with the game's natural balance, this is the result. Bring back hand checking bring back equal balance offense and defense.
The real reason the NBA is struggling ratings-wise is because the massive Supernova stars (LBJ, KD, Steph, Russ, CP3) are dying/burning out and its unsure who will be the replacement. Star driven league has to have it's star(s).
they gonna make a dunk or a alley oop worth 3 points next 😂
Man I miss post up players like Larry Johnson, Amare Stoudemire and the likes, what about mid range like Kobe, MJ, Carmelo, Iverson and so on.
And the main problem is that teams are continue to shoot the 3 even if they don't make them, is crazy out there!
Take away the slide underneath you/ Mike zchekski taught defense. Problem solved.
Every team is trying to be the Celtics but don’t have the personnel to make 16-20+ threes a game. Other teams need to reevaluate their approach.
With all the 3s attempted, the nba teams scoring avg haven’t increased, the avg 3 pt % is the same it was in 2006 at 36% … more 3s are attempted but doesn’t mean they go in lol
Idk what stats you’re looking at but so far this decade, the average points per game is the highest in NBA history other than the 60’s.
I like seeing hard defense games with less points/TDs
It's very different because in basketball you have more points by design of the sport from the beginning. The NFL, NHL, MLB and soccer are low scoring sports by original design.
THat houston vs thunder game was actually fun to watch
You all were praising the GS Warriors when they have been doing this in the last 10 years. Celtics just took that to a next level. What are they going to do, limit the amount of 3 point shooting players per team.?! Its ridiculous.
simple answer bring back hand checking and other defensive plays balance the game.
Basketball metrics do not care about entertainment.
It's an officiating issues!! It hurts the game ability to be balance. Offense will still be high but if the games are officiated with more leeway towards playing defense then you will a more competitive outcome.
ESPN and other networks should be ashamed for using trap beats for their sports coverage. It's awful!
Bring back hand checking and look how good the game gets
THE ISSUE IS TOO MANY FREE THROWS
The rules caused this...less of a contact sport...that's why.
We need to stop fronting, the NBA changed the game with the rules and the 3 point shooting (NOT Steph Curry)
All the rule changing did was benefit Curry the most because he is a great shooter
David Stern should not had changed the rules to increase scoring because that was never an issue tbh. From a fan perspective, nba is boring now.. its so easy for guys to score 30 points left and right.. back in the early 2000’s whoever had a 30 points game was considered a hell of a game because it was harder to score.
Bring back hand checking, and less load management
Well done steven A
More scoring. Less defense. More crying. Less motivation. More losing. Less statement wins. Welcome to today's NBA.
The NBA needs to do 2 things.
1. Allow harder and more physical defense
2. The refs need to call all those travels, carries etc
Do that and teams will barely be scoring 100 ppg
The problem is y'all aint defending, Joe. Thats why people are complaining about scoring being too high. Yall not defending in the regular season, which means yall dont contest and compete and people think the game sucks. So when the say "scoring is too high" thats what we mean. Nobody would have a problem with 140-140 games if yall actually competed in them.
I been saying bring back the hand checking. Only casual fans want more scoring real fans want good games
If they not playing defense then they shouldn’t be in the court.
It be funny that all the nba players start playing like they from the 80s/90s only getting 80-92 points a game and why match ppl like SAS still have a problem with it 💀
Maybe they should push the 3 point line out further and widen the courts too
This isn't going to work because more and more players are taking deep threes than ever.
@
To a degree pushing it out does make for more 2 points.
There was people in the 80s didn’t play defense, 90s, 2000s, and more
big facts highest scoring teams in history were in the 80s but casuals won't know that.
Not really. Scoring is the highest right now in this decade, that it’s been since the 60’s.
