My favorite teacher in high school recently passed away after teaching generations of students. He had parents coming into his classroom thrilled to reminisce about the times when they were in his class decades before. He didn't end up getting into politics, but he didn't need to. He touched so many lives.

Regardless of age, referring to "an elder" by their first names- or w/o their preceding title- feels disrespectful. "Putting respect on people's names" is a rule that transcends time and personal opinions. Coaches? Coach _. Teachers? Ms., Mr/s. _, Professor _ or Dr. _. Childhood neighbors? Mr/s. _. Family aka- my parent's- friends? Mr/s. _ or Auntie/Uncle _. The rule also encompasses elected officials, regardless of whether they're still in office. Maintaining that last rule was never difficult until 2016.
Only you great or favorite teachers are the ones that "kids" run up to though!! Lol. No matter how old we get, we always get excited for you amazing teachers. My mommy is teacher famous as well!! ❤❤

I had several school teachers who played a part in my life. Mrs Allen when I was in Grade school taught me that everyone's skin was different from everyone else's. This was her way of helping us or at least me to understand that skin color was not a good defining factor in life. Mrs Brooks was my high school English teacher for around 4 years she taught us to spell and define words that are not always used in casual conversation.

This reminds me of my history teacher in 8th grade, Mr. Henderson. He took the time out of his day to wait eith me long after school hours in order to talk to my mom personally to address some behavioral issues I was having at the time. That showed me how much he really cared as an educator and he was a young teacher at that time (28). I was so excited when years down the road he announced he was going to be a dad, because I knew he was going to pour in so much love for his son.

You know who has already done that? Tom Behrends - the man who had to step up and replace the coward Tim Walz when he abandoned the 500 soldiers in his unit when they got orders to deploy to Iraq. I am an Army veteran myself and I can guarantee you that we will not allow this POS to sweep his cowardice under the rug. "Stolen Valor" is the term for what Walz is doing and that is just about as vile and despicable a thing a man can do without committing actual violence against an innocent person.

I agree that the enthusiasm on VP Kamala and Tim towards being leaders of our country is the upside of this election. It is nice to see there comments full of hope, there is a future not a much of random put downs and clown remarks. They are persuading the voters with excitement that they want to make decisions that will positively effect our nation not an individual (Trump). Last, the blessing for Biden for is hard decision to want what is better for America not oneself. Thank you.

I had several school teachers who played a part in my life. Mrs Allen when I was in Grade school taught me that everyone's skin was different from everyone else's. This was her way of helping us or at least me to understand that skin color was not a good defining factor in life.
Mrs Brooks was my high school English teacher for around 4 years she taught us to spell and define words that are not always used in casual conversation.
It would be political one-upmanship for the Democrats if they were to invite the entire football team that Walz coached to victory, to the democratic convention, where they can take center stage for a few minutes. Afford them the opportunity to express how they feel about their coach, as the nation watches.

This reminds me of my history teacher in 8th grade, Mr. Henderson. He took the time out of his day to wait eith me long after school hours in order to talk to my mom personally to address some behavioral issues I was having at the time. That showed me how much he really cared as an educator and he was a young teacher at that time (28). I was so excited when years down the road he announced he was going to be a dad, because I knew he was going to pour in so much love for his son.
