I started on 15 mg of Zepbound last week and boom 6 pounds off! I am worried that I now at the highest dose will stall again! So far I am near 150 pounds lost and still have 55 pounds to go!
Can I tell you you are a breath of fresh air? I listen to so many books but I never comment. I just want to thank you for your enthusiasm. I’ve had an extremely rough month on Zepbound. I don’t wanna give up. I’ve lost 14 pounds in a month, which sounds crazy me andmy worrying thinking I have something wrong with me. However, the caveat is I quit drinking on September 18 and I think that helped the weight fall off too so I am pushing it through. Thank you for sharing.
I think I'll try the back of my arm this next round. Having a little bit of stomach issues, but nothing I can't handle. Thank you for all the great information!
This is great information I am going on my last week of the starter dose with loss of so far 6 pounds in 3 weeks…..and my dr explained since tolerating I can move to next dose
Hope you are doing well, I’m giving my husband his first shot tomorrow as he is terrified of needles. I’m so excited for him, can’t wait to get my husband back (his mental health I mean.. don’t care what he weighs as long as he is happy!)
*Hey Elizabeth!* Great and smart vid… you’re 100% right, ppl should TRACK their injections, and note location, weight-loss, and side effects. AND rotate! 👍 And your point about using injection location to maybe titrate up or down a little without moving dosages is clever. Far as Mr Freddy goes, sigh. Dude’s becoming more of a diva every day. Think the co-host thing is going to his head. 🤨 🐕
Started my weight at 248 pounds in May, first shot was the 2.5ml for both May and June, then the 5.0ml for July and August…now I am 205 pounds planning to continue the zippound in September…doctor advice is once you stop the medication to try and lose between 5-10 pounds on your own. My goal is 185 pounds.
This is almost exactly my starting point and goal. I’m 6’2” and 245 or so. I’d love to get sub-190. When it was in my early 20’s and in shape I was 178-182 consistently. First shot is Monday for me.
Also had increased gas. It was actually the only side effect I had, besides the desired decrease in appetite. My normal diet already had adhered to what I was going to do with Zepbound. The only difference IS the Zepbound so, I’m positive that it is from that.
I did my first 2.5 last night in the upper leg. I’ve been on Nucala injections monthly and since that shot actually hurts, I was so anxious this would be horrible, but I didn’t even feel it. Honestly didn’t believe actually injected and let the shot sit for a good 90 seconds and tried to push the button a few times. Happy to have seen the tiny drip of blood to be sure it actually injected!
I’m at the slow and steady losing but slower then others. I’m glad it’s working. Just wish it was more towards goal after 11 months already. Just moving up to 10 this week and I hear it’s ppl’s least favorite but could be a goodie for me. Will see! Wish me luck 🍀
Yes- I switch sites and drink lots and get my protein. I had a partial thyroid removed and that is what keeps the weight on. But- I will take whatever I can lose. ❤
Hello😊 I really learn a lot from your videos. Thank you. I’m still waiting to going the FB support group. I answered all of the questions. I’m taking my 3rd 2.5 Zepbound shot this week. 6.5 lbs down in 10 days. 😁😁😁
Thank you so much for all of your informative videos! We really appreciate the support and information that you provide to our community. May I was what brand is your pink sweater? I love the bright pink color.
I’d just like to point out that some side effects can also be what you are eating. Or even supplements. I was taking hair pills and I thought my shot was giving me bad lower abdominal pain. Nope it was the hair supplements. Everyone is different but it never occurred to me it was the hair pills.
It’s was Nutrafol. But some people can’t have that much biotin. It’s actually listed as a side effect of those pills. But I thought it was my shot for two months. Stopped taking them and pain went away. It did make my hair better.
Many people are fine, I just was one that couldn’t take it. Just making a point that you can think it’s a side effect of the shot and it could be something else. Yes thicker and shiny.
I’m so mad at myself I got scared and tensed up when it when in and I pulled it out and wasted it 😢 I’m fighting the anxiety please pray for me thank you
I’m in month six and still on 2.5 per my doctor. It’s slow, but down 27 pounds. My A1c is normal now, so he’s concerned about raising it. I still need to loose at least 70 pounds. It’s a little frustrating.
I was on 2.5 for 13 weeks, I just went up to 5.0, I hope to stay. I take mine every 5 days. That may be an option for you and your 2.5. Ask your doctor. I lost 2.5 lbs a week on 2.5. I also have the best suppression in my outer thigh.
Get another doctor. That is stupid that he is making you stay at the bottom. I moved up in dose every 4 weeks with no side effects and so did everyone I know on it, including my husband. If you are not having any side effects, what is his reasoning? You could be losing a lot faster. When the coupon runs out it will be sooo expensive and you will have lost all that time for max results.
Got my prescription for mounjaro, started on compound for 2.4 and 5 mg. No side effects. Was out for 1/2 a week and bloated up. Did 7.5 last night and feel inflammation relief, yah!
My endocrinologist is located inside the hospital. When the doctor could not get the drug approved for my diabetes, they turned it over to the specialty pharmacy at the hospital. That pharmacy got the mounjaro approved and is delivering the drug to my home today. I won't start injecting until Friday afternoon so I have the weekend to recover. (I took Ozempic for five years and off all diabetes meds for over a year now to reset body.) Hoping to get weightloss also
Mounjaro is giving me really bad central abdo pain. So tender. On second week of 2.5mg. No nausea or vomiting though. First week was fine injected in thigh, then rorated and did my stomach and wondering if that's why I'm not too well.
Hey I’m waiting to get accepted in the Group my insurance denied my Zepbound script now I’m waiting on appt to see if my Doc will prescribe Mounjaro in place of Zepbound I pray she does!!😒🥺

It makes me a kind person Sharon 😘
@@CountessofShopping I didn't notice that as much as the latter. Just makes it hard ro watch. I doubt you were even aware of it
Can I tell you you are a breath of fresh air? I listen to so many books but I never comment. I just want to thank you for your enthusiasm. I’ve had an extremely rough month on Zepbound. I don’t wanna give up. I’ve lost 14 pounds in a month, which sounds crazy me andmy worrying thinking I have something wrong with me. However, the caveat is I quit drinking on September 18 and I think that helped the weight fall off too so I am pushing it through. Thank you for sharing.
Big hugs Rachel!!!
