Short, clear, and to the point (so to speak!). Other vids ramble on, take way too long to get to the point, and don't include "tips and tricks", which are very useful. Well done!
Thank you. You are one of the few videos that actually shows a human body in the instruction. Most videos just talk, or use a drawing. Also the fact that different injection sites have different affects. Well done.
WOW! Thank you! I was prescribed Mounjaro without any in person instructions. I wasn't successful injecting into my thigh, so I've been using my abdomen. Problem is that I almost immediately become nauseated. Thanks for the proper instructions and tips! Fingers crossed for slower absorption and nausea!
This was the best, most concise explanation of how and where to properly inject, Ty! I've done 6 injections of Zepbound so far, mostly abdomen and once in my arm. was not impressed with the arm injection for that week. Wasn’t the worst appetite suppression but def not the best. Last night I went back to my abdomen, but I did not pinch fat like you explained in your video. And I have bruising for the first time ever, weird. I did it below my belly button like in the middle instead of off to the side like in the past. Wonder if that could’ve been the reason. anyway I will pinch fat for next weeks injection as you demonstrated. I also shared this video with a friend who just started Wegovy.
I didn’t pinch. It was more painful than I expected but not terrible. Terrible. I was thinking about trying some thing other than my stomach and my second injection. But I think I’m gonna stick with my tummy. Thanks for the valuable information.
Thanks so much for your clear instructions. Wonderful and I'm going to inject in my thigh since my stomach is giving me crazy sulfur burps and gas filling up my stomach. Fingers crossed.
Maybe this will help someone else. I give myself allergy shots in the back (fatty part) of each arm by leaning against an open doorway frame. By doing it this way, I am simulating “pinching” the fatty part of the back of the arm prior to an injection. Easy Peasy and painless! Before learning to give my injections this way, I was placing the needle directly in the side of each arm and it was always painful.
Does faster absorption also mean it'll reach peak level faster? Will it also wear off faster? Currently struggling with medication wearing off by days 4-5 while injecting in the thigh.
I had been injecting on the top of my thighs sitting down and would usually only have a dot of blood. When I followed this example side location standing up, there was so much blood that came out that it was mildly concerning 😭😭 I think I’ll stick to the top from now on 😅
I tried her location and it was a nightmare compared to the other sites. I thought I had scarred myself there was so much blood! I think people are just saying anything for views. Not for me.
I have been taking this for 2 months,,had nausea pretty bad but recently nausea stopped but now i am experiencing dizziness on some days with low blood pressure on certain days..blood suagr is usually 110-118 each morning..should i stop taking this,,Dr added this to my jardinace 2 months ago..he said to watch blood sugar and stop jardiance for few days if blood sugar goes too low..only once did it go donw to 67
I don't think you have to pinch up fat, actually? Not with this sort of setup. Just place it flat against your skin and inject. Why would you have to pinch up?
My friend is a diabetic and she was told to inject herself close to the navel. This information came from her diabetic physician. I just want a second opinion. Is it true it's less painful near the navel. Can it be injected by the navel? I did try it and it is less painful near the navel.

THANK YOU x. You’re the only person on TH-cam who has shown where to inject in the thigh
you can also inject it into your big toe. Make sure you do it in the fatty part of the toe
@@njdxnjdxSay WTF?! 😳🦶That sounds weird af🤣🤣 def NOT trying that!

After watching your video, I injected Mounjaro into my right upper arm. Miracle! No nausea at all! I'm forever grateful!
Wow. Great tips on speeds of Mounjaro injection sites. I had no idea. Thank you for posting this.
Thank you , I've always did the stomach but wasn't pinching my skin, doing this on my next injection 😊

You are very welcome! 🥰

Great tip!
How to you reach it by yourself that’s hard if you live alone and don’t have anybody to help you don’t t in back of the arm ?
I’ve never heard of needing to pinch the area. Why do you suggest it?
It is a subcutaneous injection. The medication gets dissolved in the fat, so grabbing the fat helps to absorb the medication better.
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been injecting at the abdomen but I’m going to switch to the thigh (3 wks in. Switched Fr ozempic)
I was on Ozempic too just took my first shot of Maunjaro today

That’s why I think for me stomach works the best! Fast absorption!
You don’t have to pinch to inject.
Thank you for the information. I’ve injecting in my thigh. Going to switch to stomach.
Does pinching the fat and injecting make the shot more effective?
Thankyou, great explanation for injection sites 👍
Awesome video! Thanks
How do you know you received medicne if there is no needle mark ?

These are great questions for your provider/prescriber!
Yes that has happened to me and I had to stop taking my jardiance
Is it bad or ok to inject in the back of your thigh? (my husband would do it for me).
I don't think you have to pinch up fat, actually? Not with this sort of setup. Just place it flat against your skin and inject. Why would you have to pinch up?
I've been injecting into the front of my thigh... Could this be why my reactions have not been as strong as others???
Same here
Thank you so MUCH!!
You are welcome 🥰

The injections in the stomach really sting. Thigh is much better.
I guess everyone has a different experience because I felt it more in the thigh and it also bled.
Try not storing it too cold if its too cold that can make it sting more
