Slight audio in the background. Apologies everyone, that must have been my DJI playing audio back! I didn't hear during the Live because it was so quiet. Now I know for the next.
I purchased a set . Did not care much for the sound as the only music that sounded ok was acoustic . Like some eagles , and other 70s artists. The floppy build was also a problem. I really wanted to like them. But when you add up the price sound and build quality it was unfortunately not worth it. BTW I likes your more casual review.
I usually don’t like live reviews but this was great 👍🏻. Enjoyed the format of how you reviewed it in different ways (camera forward then top down to really give good looks at the headphone). Covered everything and stayed on point. Drives me nuts when reviewers get side tracked by the chat or do a 3 hour live stream. Makes it impossible to watch later Nice work!
Just want to say I really like this more off-the-cuff, conversational review type. Not that there was anything wrong with the more edited ones but I dig how casual this felt but it still informative.
I love BLUES so much as well! AND I also have a variety of headphones (Omegas and HiFiman Arya Organics, etc.) and love Bonemassa! I also have an V281 and only use redbook CD's as source material! What's your favourite "combo" (cans/amp) for "electric blues?" Like the format btw, Skeebster!
At home, I love to use my ZMF's with the Cayin stuff for that. ZMF Atrium Closed on my HA-3A is magic. My Auteur Classic is as well, just with less of the low end emphasis. I need to extra grip/bite that the ZMF house sound can provide. I do think the Arya Organic does well but it can get a bit sharp at times. Paired with the right amp to curve it a bit definitely helps. Right now...listening to the Bokeh Open but not ready to discuss it yet.
u said 21 savage red rum i check out the song yes is good to test out base on your headphones' but OMG l.m.a.o am from the bronx am 41 and that music scares me now lol''''
I also met DMS at CanJam. I don't think he is putting on an act for the camera. He is a really nice and genuine dude. I really like my Omega and has replaced my HD600 as my neutral reference. The tuning sounds dead flat to whatever the current Harmon curve is to me which is awesome. I received 2 pairs of pads in my box and I use the softer pair because it is a lot more comfortable and sounds a little better to my ear. I really like the texture of the cup rings and yes aluminum driver caps would make it feel more premium. I actually use the cable from the Zeo's ERIS because the "silver" replacement cable I used on my Sundara sounded a little hot which was weird also so Yea you aren't crazy. I guess 32 ohm might make cables sound different.?. I am OK with paying 999 for a dead neutral professional tune. It sounds like a HD600 but way cleaner and more flat in the treble and sub-bass. I think this should be THE new reference headphone for comparison and reviews IMO.
well...I wouldn't say too much cheaper based off of the shipping. Holo just has a dealer in the U.S., but the shipping costs are very high as it is coming from overseas. But yeah, that sucks because the Cyan 2 is an excellent DAC!

hey thanks for checking out the video first - and also thank you for the comment on the cable. Cables can matter! Glad you are enjoying the Omega too!

I like it all black cuz others looks like a cheap toys..Peace!
45 minutes is a no go for me.
Not gonna lie, next to the auteur the omega just looks like cheap aliexpress headphones.
Looks are subjective of course, but seriously?!?
But to prove my point, the Omega looks like they came from Temu.
