Awesome video Ryan!! 2024 was a fun year in this hobby for sure! We have some of the same standouts w the Immanis, Dahlia & Bokeh Open, I also really liked the Caldera Closed, Eris, ZMF Aegis & was Pietus Maximus 2024 or 2023?
Based on your review, surprised to not see the Austrian Audio The Composer on this list. Sounded like it’s a flagship all-rounder that’s not overpriced.
@@asplmn sound wise, it's top of lists type for me. Total package though wasn't as exciting...which is what I based the list on. As I said, hard to make this list.
@ ahh, I see what you mean. I’m thinking about adding one to my collection purely for the sound (already own ZMFs and other goodies) as I would like something more neutral and open for classical / soundtracks. Sounds like a good candidate?
@@Skeeb23 I managed to get one and thought it was good but not great, until I changed the cable out and found the most immersive and engaging IEM or Headphone I have ever tried. I had it in for almost 6 hours last night. I have many other TOTL IEMs and now nothing ever comes close. anyway great review, will try to get out and see the headset that was 10k, It looked beautiful.
@@gavin8489 that's really hard to say for a layman as you stated. For me, yes I definitely hear a difference. Is it significant? It is if you don't care to flavor the sound like the iHA-6 can if you go higher impedance out of the 6.3. Cayin took several years between when the 6 came out to the 8. So there are definitely engineering advancements made.
I think everything on your list is on on an excitement Factor. everything you've mentioned other than maybe 2 themes or 3 that you own ( spent time with). You've only listened to once and never spent time with it again
@chriscastillo291 Mr. Castillo, this is a video about the things Skeeb liked the most this year. Not full blown in depth reviews & rankings. Calmate mijo
@@Skeeb23I think I got the same vibe. When you said you listened for 15 minutes with the implication that it was a long time, seems like this is just hyping things. I understand that 15 minutes is a long time in one go at an event like canjam, but I personally would not recommend anything with that little experience, especially from in a public setting.
@@chriscastillo291 @cookinbeatloaf you guys are missing the entire point that I stated at the top of the video (and at the end, mind you). I said 10 most exciting products for me. I also stated none are necessarily best in class. You guys missed the mark on what I stated.
@@Skeeb23no worries man. I know you can’t say it so I’ll say it for you. These people need to get a life. Read a book. Pay attention. Just faceless keyboard warriors. Good luck with your channel man. I got the RU7 and liked your video on that, I probably like the ru7 even more. It blows me away they managed to pack that much tech into something so small. I use it so much. Being able to have hifi of that quality and not having a brick to carry around is incredible
Congrats on 4k subscribers 👍

@asplmn yes, definitely so
I ended up with the schiit gunnr and bro it sounds so good.
Those width and presence controls help you dial in your headset.
Your Cam Jam coverage was super enjoyable 😃
Great stuff! Merry Xmas!
Fosi just came out with a Gunnr competitor might be worth a look 👀
Those Koss look amazing
Macbeth looks gorgeous😮
@@CoffeeXmusic it really is. In person is even better as camera only gets so far.
@@Skeeb23The price is insane though. I will definitely go try it out since I’m living in Sg, easy to find the distributor.
Did you try the FE Macbeth with the stock cable or with the Ambition?
@G00dH0uR83 good question, I believe it was...I'll have to find out more soon on that.
Did you ever get a chance to check out the PMG APX SE ???
@@donaldwolff honestly, never heard of it till I just googled it. If it's at CanJam, I'll try and get a listen!

Is IHA-8 noticeably better than IHA-6? Would a layman fail a blind test?
