I, a Badger fifty years ago went to the game with my son, a Duck, travelled cross country for the game. You could sense a change after the Ducks joined in Jump Around. The Badger fans appeared concerned. The Ducks were different after that. Sheila
Those who think it's unimportant to win with style points are forgetting that QB Dillon Gabriel was under serious consideration for the Heisman Trophy this season. Their consistent failure to even cover the point spread certainly hurts his chances.
I dont know if there is a stat for how many times he goes for it on critical 4th down situations and he misses. Or when he goes for it on 4th down instead of taking 3 points and it backfires.
Best ability is availability and Burch is not reliably available, nor was he last year. I’m thinking Matayo is the best Defensive guy. He’s available and really damn good.
Been a theory of mine this season as well. Offensive line play I think is sleight of hand, also not using Kenyon Sadiq. They showed this when they used Evan Stewart, basically exclusively during the Ohio State game. Lanning is a psychological savant.
Oregon's first game without a first-half TD. Trailed at the half, just like the Boise State game. I know that 8 conference games in 8 weeks will wear down most teams, but after these last 2 games it's hard not to have the same doubts we had after their first 2 games. As an 11-0 team, I'm guessing that they've set a record for the number of games where they've failed to cover the point spread.
ATS is not an important stat. Oh no they beat MSU by 21 instead of 22.5, they must not be as good as we thought! Btw FSU was 3-8 ATS at 11-0 in 2014 so we didn't quite get that record at 5-6. (Georgia was also 5-6 last year.)

I don't know if there is stats for passes knocked down by a defensive line, but I feel like Oregon would be up there
I believe they are in the top 4 nationally

@@mollyclum2302 they both arevamazing!!!
I think he's holding back a whole lot of Offense. He's saving our best for the Championship and Playoffs. Imho

That's exactly what he's doing and the little few trick play fake punts now that's in other coaches'heads that Oregon might run a fake punt .
lets also not forget the last 3 opponents have had a bye week prior to our matchup so they had 2 weeks to prepare for us
Absolutely makes a difference
The argument to have DG on the field for the fake FG is poor... you can't put him out there because it draws so much suspicion
I want Dan Manning to "Put it out there". I love his fakes and more often then not, the Ducks are going to make them work.
Who’s Dan manning lol? I hate autocorrect sometimes 😂
@@arizwebfoot it's fun for the players too when they succeed

@@FrootLupus Thanks for the stats. I'm sure The Ducks offense would look a lot different if injured wide receiver Tez Johnson was back on the field.
