    Alright so traveling to Eugene from Fresno CA with my wife for the Washington game we really want to do all the pregame stuff like march to victory and so on but we have no idea where to go for all that stuff any info would be much appreciated! Sco Ducks great win was a bit nervous but glad we got the W I believe we have a great shot this year also Spence love the show I’ve tried to be an everyday listener for the past 3 years but sometimes I miss a couple but I always catch up while I’m at work keep up the great work!!

    I was able to go to the game. Watching the team hype themselves up during jump around was one of the coolest moments of Duck football I’ve ever seen. I kept hearing Wisconsin fans talk about how we were losing and then couldn’t fathom why our boys started jumping. It was amazing to see and changed the entire feeling of the game.

    I traveled to the game and we had a lot of duck fans there. We were a little nervous but very loud! My voice still isn't back. After jump around We all keep saying it was our quarter. Fun environment and it is amazing that we are now 11-0!

    Automatticus Sappington future Oregon legend 😅
    I’m glad I’m not the only one coming away with positives from this game. This defense can carry us far into the playoffs it’s why we are the number one team in the country. Matayaos confidence has seemed to sky rocket the last few weeks. A dominant D line changes everything. SCO 👎🏻🦆👎🏻

    Man, props to Wisconsin, those boys came to play! Luckily the Ducks again found a way to win. Going to have to figure out how to score more than 16 points though. When teams have two weeks to prepare, they know everything we do. As a coach you should know this and on both sides of the ball need to switch stuff up

  • @liar2

    going 8 straight weeks without a bye and still undefeated is an accomplishment. 10 catches for Stewart, 3 to TFERG and most everyone else only had 1. Gabriel has to start looking to other receivers. On the play with the INT in the redzone, Noah Whittington ran a wheel route and had no defenders near him and he could have walked into the end zone.

    • @Infiltrate.and.Betray
      @Infiltrate.and.Betray 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Dillon Gabriel is the #1 reason for my skepticism regarding Oregon's playoff viability. He still doesn't see the field particularly well, he hasn't developed an off-speed throw game, and his accuracy is far too streaky for a quarterback of his experience.

    • @srajala42
      @srajala42 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Infiltrate.and.Betray i agree, Dillon gabriel is hit or miss. When he's good he's really good, but when he's bad... it's pretty bad. High cieling low floor

    How much did playing so many games without a bye, and then playing two teams in a row after their bye enter the performance equation?

    • @MashaRistova
      @MashaRistova 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I think this played a huge role in how Oregon performed. They were exhausted and playing well-rested teams who each had two weeks to game plan for Oregon back to back. It’s honestly amazing Oregon won both games and is still undefeated. I think that really speaks to how good this team is. I’m glad they’re finally getting some much needed time to rest. I’m excited to see a fresh Oregon team hopefully demolish the Huskies in two weeks

    • @DiamondDetailingBuzz
      @DiamondDetailingBuzz 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      This has a huge factor that no one will talk about because NOBODY ever gives the Ducks benefit of the doubt. Having to play 2 teams in a row coming off of their bye week, giving them two weeks to study film is a huge advantage. That and having rested bodies is another huge factor

    • @ogtreez51p5

      @MashaRistova I honestly believe that is why Oregon is still the #1 team is every poll..... because every committee consideredthe fact that 2 teams in a row had 2 weeks to prep for Oregon and Oregon still found a way to get the W, now they can prep hard for the Fuskies, as well as watch the Ohio State Indiana game to scout their opponent in the BiG conf. Championship!

      You are right, ramspencer5492: Net punting is the stat that matters, not gross punting. The punter is primarily responsible for punt coverage, because without hangtime and accuracy the gunners have little to work with. James' four punts netted 39, 27, 41, and 38 yards-an average of only 36.25 yards, which is a pedestrian number at the college level.

    The 2024 Ducks won a close game that most previous Duck teams would have lost. The defense kept them in it and ultimately won the game.
    But what do most people talk about? The fake FG attempt. It failed and the defense made it not matter.
    1-12 on 3rd down? 130 yards rushing at 3.8 yards per carry? By a predominantly rushing team? Give us those stats any time you want to!

    And Wisconsin was also playing at a championship level against Oregon. Oregon better step it up after Maryland and now Wisconsin. Maybe a week off, no time zone changes, injuries healing, no wind, and other excuses will help out against Washington. I just don't see how Oregon will be able to win a playoff game if they have to travel to a different time zone again. As to giving up 4th quarter first downs, Wisconsin is not Ohio State, Georgia, Texas, etc.

    • @BrucknerMotet
      @BrucknerMotet 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      At least it snows sometimes at Autzen. The Ducks don't have to worry about being the San Diego Chargers trying to win a playoff game in Cincinnati in a snowstorm. Oregonians are familiar enough with "weather" to not gripe as much as Aztecs, Trojans, Cal Bears, Bruins, etc might do when encountering conditions outside of sunny with chance of clouds, 68-72 degrees F with winds from the west at 2-3 mph.

    • @Mike-rk8oo
      @Mike-rk8oo 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BrucknerMotet On the weather issue, one of the excuses for the Ducks not playing very well against Wisconsin was, wind. I've seen people give every other excuse and only one giving credit to the Wisconsin D line outplaying the Ducks O line and pressuring Gabriel. After an upcoming Washington game, the competition is going to get stiffer and excuses won't matter if their season comes to an end. So much potential and talent, chemistry, great coaching and hard work if they don't come out with intensity and purpose. They will need to be fired up on every play and every man needs to excel at doing his job. It'll only be three games left (after Washington) and then they can tell their kids what it was like to become champions, hopefully they won't have to give excuses.

      I haven't heard a single person excusing Oregon's play due to the wind, nor would such an excuse by the odd poster here or there in any way typify the broader fanbase. And as for the team, here's your spoiler alert: No player or coach will have to give excuses if they lose in the playoffs.

    • @Mike-rk8oo
      @Mike-rk8oo 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Infiltrate.and.Betray They will not give excuses but they will explain what happened. The difference is an excuse is out of your control, and an explanation is what is in your control. If they don't have their heads in the game as in Maryland, they talked about that. What irked me is Lanning saying a win is a win. Or something like that.

    Some thoughts... Why go into the half with 3 unused timeouts? Sadiq and Holden needed more touches of the ball. Leading up to the fake field goal, the 1st down and 2nd down play-calls were really bad. If you're going to run up the middle, you don't want everyone else in the middle also. Defense was solid -- so good that Wisconsin fired their O.C. the next day.

    • @BrucknerMotet
      @BrucknerMotet 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sadiq is solid and improving. Not at T-Ferg level, but definitely trying his damnest to figure out through experience where his own actual ceiling lies (coaches love players who have a sort of ready-made, built-in, instinctual drive to want to maximize self-knowledge re their current and future football capabilities) but you combine his blocking, good hands, size, knowhow, and smart game play, and the sum is greater than the parts.

  • @Infiltrate.and.Betray
    @Infiltrate.and.Betray 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Spencer, the illegal chop block penalty was absolutely the CORRECT call. Rule 2, Section 3, Article 3 states: "A chop block is a high-low or low-high combination block by any two players against an opponent (not the ball carrier) anywhere on the field, with or without a delay between blocks; the 'low' component is at the opponent’s THIGH or below." Tawee Walker (#3) clearly strikes Jamari Caldwell directly on the thigh pad while Caldwell was being blocked up high by Jake Renfro (#57). Gabriel is to small. He's like DAT if they were normal size they would of been great. Gabriel makes way to many bad decisions for us to win a national title. Offensive line sucks this year. He throws alot of bad passes. We need a real quarterback. Not some tiny dude who throws left handed. Left handed quarterbacks suck. The receivers don't know how to catch their balls and the oline doesn't know how to block for left handers. I wanted Cam Ward for a reason. Not 5 foot nothing. Oregons defense is the only thing that's consistent.

    A win is a win! There have been many great teams this season who have had tough games and lost. Oregon had a tough game playing against a Wisconsin team who had a lot of advantages working in their favor - it was a night game at their home, and they had two weeks to rest and game plan for Oregon. Oregon is also playing without some of their key guys on both sides of the ball. All that and they still got the win, and that’s all that really matters. Oregon’s defense is so incredibly good that whenever Wisconsin had possession I wasn’t worried about them scoring like at all. I was most nervous when Oregon had possession because of how poorly their offense was playing. But I’m not even worried about it - Oregon is getting a much needed rest and they get plenty of time prep for
    Washington. 💚💛🤍
