I know and its original paint I simply keep it maintained an occasional compound maybe 3 times a year and every month a polish, bi-weekly a good wax and detail spray every one and then. I tell you its shinning really good, its not flawless but its where it should be at for its age.
Old but still looks modern. I have the 4JX1 3.0 diesel engine model with auto box and leather trim and upholstery, RHD UK. Very good capable vehicle that pulls like a train.
@@brucegrant9964 after some mechanic did the rebuild they forgot to put back the oil pressure switch and the only way I figured this out was when I was fixing this problem... I was like "Why the hell is nothing connected here and what is this missing part?" It did make a difference so thank you for the heads up and I can confirm
Thanks I love it however these gas prices are killing me I spent 60 and only put 13 gallons in it, I see your in Jersey I took mines up in Warren county to Stokes State Park and High Points it performed so well, yours look nice also
Thanks I use Turtle Wax entire new line of products along with EagleOne tire cleaner and Meguiar's Correction Compound, I occasionally apply some Collinite #845, these are cost effect products and gives the result of things double the price, I spent decades buying all types of car body care products, even things costing over $100, NOT WORTH it, these brands I mentioned give long lasting results
Thanks its a cool vehicle does what its built to do I try to take care of it and not push it to the limit... works perfect for my simple outdoor needs like getting through woods to camp get to a beach get up hills, etc etc, nothing extreme but I know it can handle more than I give it.
They're ok, I've had my 2000 Diesel 3.0 Auto since new, now 375,000 km, 1 alternator, 1 starter motor, turbo at 374,000, injector sleeve seals twice, 2 injector looms, 2 ORPS, twice cleaned RPCV, blocked off EGR 10 years ago, 2 transmission services, 2 valve adjustments, all 4 shocks, 1 timing belt, ORIGINAL hoses/radiator - run coolant PURE 100% concentrate NOT 50/50, NO pressure radiator cap just closed cap and open vent to overflow tank SINCE NEW - never overheats even in 40 plus peak stop/start traffic, gauge stays around 1/3 way, NO system pressure = NEVER burst a hose or heater or radiator core issue, change oil using CHEAP 20w50 every 3000 k, oil filts every 10k, so far everything works except bent radio ariel, no fault codes, doing rear springs soon due to back feeling a bit soft now, will use Kings KHRR-92 but will cut off first then end coil since dont want 40mm lift :)
we would of loved that engine here in America cause as far as I know ISUZU diesel is really reliable. I'm originally from Guyana and some of the off-roaders had Isuzu Troopers in the Jungle, they never backed down, they went in and out rivers up and down hills, soaking wet terrain, these are real machines...
Ebay is where I found all the emblems they were off older rodeos and troopers used condition. I just placed them where I thought they looked best and looked at all the generations to see where they placed them from the factory. I think they look fine
Everything from searching Ebay over the past 3 years and a few other pieces from the junkyard. They were pricey but I just prefer direct fitment, imo they look right with that body style
YES SIR....I M LOOKING FOR THAT EXTRA VACUM CANISTER THAT MOUNTS TO THE FRAME...THAT RUNS THE 4×4 WEEL DRIVE HIGH....I HERD U SAY U BOUGHT OF EBAY...AND THAT IT WASNT THE PROBLEM....I WAS WOUNSERING IF U WANT TO SELL THAT CANISTER
nope in america we have the 3.5 gas disaster engine,,, just gotta keep an eye on the oil before one day it dries up and explodes... I drove 800 miles one day and burnt 2 quarts of oil
They are if the damage wasn't done which from my understanding is keeping up with maintenance and adding oil often, it burns oil and gas alot, other than that I would say its strong and reliable, I just don't abuse it, slam the gas, and act like a douche bag, its probably more capable off-road than many current rides, and it just looks nice
I paid $400 USD and costed about 2,500 for an engine rebuild and trans rebuild... god knows if they did a proper job... its been a few years with it and its doing pretty well just being gentle with it. I love it very roomy its just a classic design to be cherished imo
Which Gorilla glue would you suggest, I used the 3M adhesive glue that was designed for this purpose and it failed, Im going to give your suggestion a try

sure is a strong vehicle aside for the major flaw it has. I have keep on top the oil situation and never drive it too hard cause it burns alot of gas
