Thanks for thinking of us po' shore Boys. I am very limited with water body access and ideal conditions for each technique. Fishing in SoCal is so heavily pressured 😢.
I have been shoreline bass fishing in my locale for about 10 yrs….I’ve sampled nearly every hardbait technique bass lure for its effectiveness at catching bass in 4-5 local lakes/ponds….I have not found a lipped crankbait that will out fish a lipless crankbait….it’s not even measurable…I fish Jackall TN’s and Spro Aruku shads mostly because you can fish those two lipless cranks with nearly every retrieval technique possible, especially yo-yo’ing and fast pumping off the bottom without fear of the lure tumbling over itself and hanging up on your line…most of the lakes/ponds I fish have muddy bottoms and grass in the summer; no wood or rocks……Also, blade baits, spoons, and even tail spinners tend to out fish lipped crankbaits also…..those lures I mentioned cast much further than any lipped crankbait, and more times than not, the bass tend to be further from the shoreline than closer….try getting a lipped crankbait to settle on the bottom over 125 ft from shore😂 not gonna happen…..3 of the lakes I fish from shore are 6-12 acres in size, two having islands in the middle of them, between 100-200 ft+ from shore.
Thanx again boyz, I’m so happy y’all rep the Raid brand like no other. Even Munenori with Japan Import Tackle hasn’t pushed Raid as much. Whoop dat Bass baby!!!
For me I really like the 6th sense shallow dive cranks. Here in the Houston area they really work well from the bank. I don’t have a boat so I am a bank banger.
It's always a good day when a new video from The Hook Up Tackle drops! Love this one as I relate to it so much (Dedicated bank fisherman here). I use 110's, Blitz cranks, Neds, and tons more (I carry a backpack that weighs 14lbs in lures, and 5 rods every time but all have their own use). I lose lures, and a ton of money at that but also catch 2-3lb bass and 3+lb pike here often in Rochester, NY. But anyways, I would LOVE to see more of these videos dedicated to shore masters as they are very educational! Thanks for all you guys do, and thanks for the Halloween Ghost Geisha sale!
Great video as always! I have a better idea of some crankbaits I need to try out river fishing from shore or wading for smallmouth here on the east coast in VA and PA. Thanks!
As a bank guy, you can’t forget the IXI Shad Type-R with the LBO it’s a true sleeper. Casting distance and you can throw on a baitcaster or spinning rod.
That level crank absolutely flies. Even further than my heavier cranks with weight transfer systems and I have no idea why. Been looking for other cranks that cast just as far.
For my crank rods, including lipless cranks i use two evergreen international rods. A combat stick heracles "the serval" 6'-11" amazing rod for lipless and smaller to mid sized cranks. Otherwise i use the evergreen kaleido husky winder. 7'-3" unbelievably amazing rod unfortunately hard to find amd uber expensive.
I have an evoked 2.0 and it's amazing. I keep using the same one that's totally beat up through heavy rip rap. But there's no way in hell that thing dives two meters.
Thanks for showing some love to the shore fishermen. Much appreciated.
Thank you for watching! 👊🍻

I remember when them damn lc1.5’s were $15.99. I was stoked when they dropped to $5.99 🔥

Love the shore breakdown! I love my Orochi Swingfire for the smaller cranks but am afraid to use it since it's not made any more! :)
Use it and love it! 🤘
I’m a visual learner and when you put your mouth on bait, is when I truly understood what you meant. More mouth on baits please. 😁
Haha! Things are going to get weird 😜🍻
Shallow water crank baits are my crack addiction
I always wondered why the LC 1.5 was more inexpensive than the 0.5. Make a lot of sense.

If you’re not getting that depth - then it’s likely a casting distance thing or line diameter thing.
Where's the Orion
Can lavante flat side rod can cast z line of crancks good?
Absolutely
Can we get a kayak fishing 4 rod breakdown (spinning, cranking and 2 casting general purpose) before Christmas if possible. $200.00 to $500.00 range
