I couldn’t wait to see how the land plane worked. The suspense was killing me! You and your students did a great job and it seems to work well. Those extra wheel weights really planted that tractor to the ground. Have a blessed week!
I was excited for you to try the land plane and it works great. What a great design and great job on the fabrication. You can build attachments for my tractor anytime. Very enjoyable video thanks Ben
Good job with the plain that you had your students build. Does a nice job, I would love to have one, but I would need tons and tons of gravel and fill. Have a good week.
Many thank`s for this quick released Vid - i was so interested how the LP works. Your Students and you did it very good! Both short Blades in front i guess is the right improvement for my Boxblade...
Looking good sir wonderful design and also saved you a lot of money. I would get a patent on it once you get the kinks and improvements that you need to make to it and see if you can put it in to production
Good morning Ben, have tried putting the 3pt in float? I think if you look at the bottom of the 3pt arms, where they attach to the tractor, you can rotate the bolts 90° and that will give a little amount of float
I like it Ben, i think it awesome idea too, but what if you had first long bar on a slight angle I wonder if that would be better or worse the having it straight across like you have, I really want to build one so any help would be appreciated like you said the slot the holes, thanks and God Bless Ben
Without trying different styles it’s hard to say what’s the best. But I’ve used this more since the video and I’m pretty happy so far. Thanks for watching
Pretty cool love the idea of the straight across blades. Would one of those adapters for top link they give you for brush hogs work? Lets back float I believe
I really like your land plane design and I think you could sell quite a few of them. It would most likely be a gigantic pain in your tookus, but perhaps you could make your 2 front angled blades adjustable up and down to fine tune the amount of digging they do? I would suggest perhaps having them pivot at the side frame and letting them swivel up or down and pin them in the desired location. I'm not a fabricator so I don't know how difficult that would be, but as is, you have a very impressive implement. EDIT: After watching the end of your video I think you have the best solution on the short front blades from digging too much. After you raised the front of the plane it sure did a fantastic job of grading/spreading the gravel.
Nice job. Your design is different and I am not sure how best to use it on my old base mix road. But great shop project! But I like my land plane that moves everything to one side. Firct I move the middle towards the edges. Then I use the side link to establish some slope and move the edges towards the middle. . Also I need the scarifiers on some sections, some times. to break up the base.
Works nice Ben, i might add a little angle on the center blade to move a little more material to the center when you make that first pass. It might save you a pass overall. But as any attachment, you get used to making it work for you. Nice job.
No dumb ideals here Ben,that land plane looks good and works as it should.Great job on the design, and congrats to your students.I know that you are very proud of them and the land plane.Take care,be safe and have a blessed day my friend.🚜👍👏❤️🙏
I think your land plane idea works good. I've worked my gravel driveway for 35 yrs with a blade and I have a good technique using it but I really like how the landplane works. I have to get on and off the tractor several times to adjust the blade to get results I want. Looks like using the landplane would eliminate alot of adjusting. I can see myself using a landplane. The little angled blades on yours does pull gravel back into the road to get respread. I may be in the market for a landplane. But it won't have your modification yet.
Good job Ben. I think a land plane is the best implement for maintaining a driveway. You just get it set right, and run back and forth and that's about it. Much easier than a box blade in my opinion. Good video.
This worked better than i thought it would especially the angled front blades....like a lot of other implements I think speed and operator have a lot to do with how it works...great video
Gravel grader works great. Good job welding. One might think following the land plane with a roller would set the gravel in place better after it’s levelled.
I couldn’t wait to see how the land plane worked. The suspense was killing me! You and your students did a great job and it seems to work well. Those extra wheel weights really planted that tractor to the ground. Have a blessed week!
Thank you so much!
what are you doing today
Looks like it works great. Your students did a fantastic job welding it together.
Thanks 👍

Appreciate that!

The land plane looks great along with the John Deere and did a great job! Your design did what it was designed to do! Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much!
That worked great, you students did a great job on your design, I look forward to see in more videos with your land plane
Thanks 👍
Looked like it worked pretty good to me. Mark D. Florida

I'll bet that you could patten it and make money. That would be a good idea to think about Ben
Thank you!!
@@khtractors you're welcome
Very good design. It seems to work great
Thank you!
Nice. Job. You. Do. Good. Work
Thank you
Nice idea and build.
Thanks!

Look like it done a pretty good job great video
Thanks 👍
That land plane seems to work really good. I bought one while back new and I think k yours works better than mine
That’s great! Thanks
Looks Luke it is doing a good job
Thank you!
I like it. I’ve used a land leveler drag but Now i after watching this I’m gonna have to 3 point it
Sounds good! Thanks

@@khtractors ok thanks Ben and your always welcome you have a awesome channel to learn from, God Bless
Looks like it did a dang good job. You probably built a better unit for a fraction of what one cost from a dealer, and it’s better built.
Yes for sure! Thanks
looking good Ben. You need to start mfg. , send one up here to me in Canada. hahaha
Appreciate the compliment!
Not a dumb idea if it does what you need!
Thank you!

I know what you’re talking about. Not sure how it would work. Thanks
This is what happens when you turn a hayfork, into a landplane.
Not sure why the sarcasm but it’s the coolest spear I’ve seen!
It looks weird congrats
Copy
I want one!!! Ben, it ain’t stupid if it works!!! And it works pretty dog gone good from what I’ve seen in this video!!!
Appreciate it!

You and your students did a great job on the design and build of that implement. Well done and works even better!
Thank you!
John Deere looking good with the green attachment😂, can’t put that thing on the Kubota😂
That is true 😂! Thanks

Yes it takes less watching and adjusting the 3 point than a box blade! Thanks
nice work the paint job looks good as well
Thanks 👍
Hi
Hello
@@khtractors hi
That’s pretty awesome. I’m a little curious about the up Dog at 4:44.
I’m not sure what you’re referring too? Thanks for watching
You were supposed to ask what’s up dog….
Looks and works great Ben!
Thanks 👍
Great video buddy 👍
Thanks 👍
You can see the high levels, in driveway great video 😊
Yes! Thank you!
Looking good Ben
Good to hear from you! Thanks
It’s a win win, teaching the young how to fabricate and a useful attachment for maintaining your driveway
It sure is! Thanks
This worked better than i thought it would especially the angled front blades....like a lot of other implements I think speed and operator have a lot to do with how it works...great video
It does better with some speed. Thanks for watching
Nice job on the land plane. Seems like you have something there you could market! Might get a big deal from a company for your design! Great video!
I’ve used it a few more times and so far so good!
Gravel grader works great. Good job welding. One might think following the land plane with a roller would set the gravel in place better after it’s levelled.
Yes a roller would help. Thanks for watching
Personally I would rather just have a box blade.
10/4! Thank you!
Looks like the land plan does a great job. Great job
It really does! Thanks
