Well I did find your channel because of classic tbc content I have to say I subscribed because of you. Your Metroid content has prompted me to get and want to play through all Metroid games before dread when previously I’d only ever played fusion and prime. So far I am loving it! The replay value of zero mission is one of the most fun things experienced in a long time, Metroid II on GB is a trip, AM2R so far has been a wondrous journey I have to keep reminding myself is a fan game (and I’ve never had so much fun using my SN30 pro controller to play it), I cannot wait to finally experience Super Metroid once I feel fully finished with AM2R and it’s all because of you, so thank you. As someone who has been pretty much exclusively playing wow since 2005 I get your burn out as I have burnt out too recently and I am genuinely excited to take the time to catch up on some of the great games I’ve missed over the years and am looking forward to your content providing further inspiration for what worlds I should check out next! I hope you surprised by how much support your channel receives during this transition and if you keep making content at the very least I’ll keep watching!

@@ZerbraxiWoW so I have the SN30 pro that looks like a snes controller with two joysticks added on, and I love it; however as an adult now, let me tell you the SNES controller is not made for people with big hands, if you are planning on getting one I would necessarily say “don’t get it” but I would recommend either the 8bitdo Pro2 controller (if you can find it) or the SN30 pro+ as each is basically an SN30 but with grips (and the pro2 adds two additional buttons to the grips and fully remappable buttons via the companion app).

Perfectly understandable. For example, I have not touched any online games this summer because I just wanted to spend more time with friends - family and go to the beach as much as humanly possible. Only a mobile game to keep me occupied during the bus rides to and from the beach, I guess. . . . . . On the topic of suggestions though: - You could maybe do something like original games versus their remakes? Like Final Fantasy 7 and its remake. - Your opinion and thoughts on games that were, and some still are, released only in Japan even though they are great games and we can only access them through fan-translations and rom-hacks. Some Fire Emblem and Langrisser titles come to mind. . . . . . Just my 2 cents.
It's funny you mention those two ideas. I've considered both, so hearing someone else bring them up definitely makes me definitely consider it more. I'm kind of going to do that with AM2R VS Samus Returns, but it's not exactly the same. Thank you for the support and will definitely consider those options. They could be really fun.
That's such a great way of putting it. Being a WoW fan for like the last decade has been complicated. Everything comes with a catch, and it's just starting to fatigue too much at this point. Seems like I'm very much not alone in that sentiment though :(
How? It's been pretty fun for us. I know it's always trendy to hate Blizz, and sometimes they deserve it. But I haven't seen a non-hypocritical analysis. People are mad at the cash shop then go to ff14 where there's a MUCH larger cash shop, etc. The newest breed of gamer is impatient and greedy. I understand how hard that makes it for content creators to keep up though.

I've expressed, several times on this channel, videos about why I don't like certain aspects Classic WoW as well as the modern game. Beyond the business practices, I've been unhappy with design choices as well. This doesn't have to be a WoW vs FF14 discussion. I've criticized FF enough as well. This doesn't have to be a bad vs worse discussion. This doesn't have to be a "trendy to hate Blizz" discussion. It wasn't trendy to hate on them, and I've never found pride or joy in my complaints. I simply disagree with the companies game design elements and some business models over the last year. From that I would much rather spend my free time talking about this I enjoy wholeheartedly. That really should be a simple conclusion to understand. Just like anything in life, just because I no longer find joy in something, by no means is some attack towards your enjoyment of the product.

True! That was a really bad choice of words on my part. While many struggled this last year, this experience for me has been incredible and something I'll never forget.
Honestly, not sure about WoW specifically. WoW has kinda turned into my quick daily ritual to wind down. I don't play it too much beyond raid. We'll see but I'm honestly not sure where WoW would come into my stream since my streams are usually the live version of the video I'm working on at that moment.

Hopefully I can interest you in some other titles outside WoW, and maybe some games you've missed along the way. I know for me, no longer spending 40+ hours a week working on videos/streaming WoW has opened me up to the ability to play so many games I skipped over the years. I've been following that game for years, and I kickstarted probably way too much money back in the day for it lol. I still watch all of their updates for it. There are some pretty good looking MMO's coming on the horizon and I'm excited to try them.

I came for the WoW TBC content, but I've enjoyed your other videos too, and let's be honest, there isnt exactly a lot left to talk about with TBC Classic than hasnt been talked about a hundred times already.
It's very true. While my Trello board had another 40 or so ideas still for TBC, honestly, most of them just didn't feel like they would've actually been good topics. I'm really enjoying TBC, but it's definitely not something I can dedicate 40+ hours a week into videos like I was prior.
Do yo thang Im still gonna play tbc until the end but yeah playing classic since its release kind of semi hardcoreish has definitely made the game less fun for for me ive been chilling mostly raid logging but still having fun with my guild and raiding and can't wait for p2 and beyond.
I think your making the right call pursue your own passion from the videos I have watched on your channel you have a talent for creating content so I think you be successful at what ever you choose cover
All very good options and thankfully I have all of those games, though I don't have Baten Kaitos Origins but I own the other. JRPG's, and RPG's in general, are definitely my favorite genre so I'm sure there will be plenty for you to enjoy! The second Lunar game specifically always caught my eye but I'll play through them both some time.
I am going to do everything in my power to eventually cover Legend of Dragoon. It's going to be a very long process since it's a dang long game and I have A LOT to say, but I can't wait to discuss it sometime. Also, Legend of Dragoon is just actually awesome :)

@@ZerbraxiWoW Well the oldest game that I still play every now and then is Master of Orion. Can't get it to work on Win 10 so had to go back to win 7. Other games I play is Rimworld, Stellaris and 7 Days to Die. Not counting WoW classic TBC.
I'm 100% aware of that. I fully accepted that this would almost definitely kill my channel for the next year, if not indefinitely. I'm hoping I'm small enough to rebuild that loss, but I guess we'll see. It'll be a new experience either way.
I've only ever beaten the first game so I'm REALLY excited to play through the other too as well! I hope you enjoy the videos when they come. I don't know exactly when those videos will be out, but since they're longer games I'll probably start them alongside other projects to get the content out at a good pace.
I'll almost certainly do some content on New World. I'm keeping an eye on it but I'm also trying to go in blind. I haven't gone into a new MMO blind since WoW or Guild Wars.
I've played it on and off over the years. Will definitely give it some time when Endwalker releases so I have a feeling I'll do at least some content on that in some capacity.
WoW is finally dying across the board. Blizzard sucked the last bit of soul the game had left with pay to win affecting both retail and classic versions. Better games and companies deserve to be in the spotlight.
I mostly agree with your sentiment here. I've been butting heads with Blizzard for so long, that it's kind of become it's own hobby lol. I really don't want to focus on negative aspects either, though I'm more than happy to criticize when necessary, but my relationship with Blizzard is pretty bad lol. We'll see how their company moves in the future, but I'm honestly not holding my breath anymore.

It's very true. While my Trello board had another 40 or so ideas still for TBC, honestly, most of them just didn't feel like they would've actually been good topics. I'm really enjoying TBC, but it's definitely not something I can dedicate 40+ hours a week into videos like I was prior.
Do yo thang Im still gonna play tbc until the end but yeah playing classic since its release kind of semi hardcoreish has definitely made the game less fun for for me ive been chilling mostly raid logging but still having fun with my guild and raiding and can't wait for p2 and beyond.

All very good options and thankfully I have all of those games, though I don't have Baten Kaitos Origins but I own the other. JRPG's, and RPG's in general, are definitely my favorite genre so I'm sure there will be plenty for you to enjoy! The second Lunar game specifically always caught my eye but I'll play through them both some time.

@@ZerbraxiWoW Well the oldest game that I still play every now and then is Master of Orion. Can't get it to work on Win 10 so had to go back to win 7. Other games I play is Rimworld, Stellaris and 7 Days to Die. Not counting WoW classic TBC.

I'm 100% aware of that. I fully accepted that this would almost definitely kill my channel for the next year, if not indefinitely. I'm hoping I'm small enough to rebuild that loss, but I guess we'll see. It'll be a new experience either way.

I've only ever beaten the first game so I'm REALLY excited to play through the other too as well! I hope you enjoy the videos when they come. I'll almost certainly do some content on New World. I'm keeping an eye on it but I'm also trying to go in blind. I haven't gone into a new MMO blind since WoW or Guild Wars.
I've played it on and off over the years. Will definitely give it some time when Endwalker releases so I have a feeling I'll do at least some content on that in some capacity.
WoW is finally dying across the board. Blizzard sucked the last bit of soul the game had left with pay to win affecting both retail and classic versions. Better games and companies deserve to be in the spotlight.
I mostly agree with your sentiment here. I've been butting heads with Blizzard for so long, that it's kind of become it's own hobby lol. I really don't want to focus on negative aspects either, though I'm more than happy to criticize when necessary, but my relationship with Blizzard is pretty bad lol. We'll see how their company moves in the future, but I'm honestly not holding my breath anymore.

My girlfriend is the one who likes it this way, and I don't find particular pride in my grooming of all things so it's easy for me. My personal pride is by no means connected to what my body does with the keratin in my body, but I very much appreciate your genuine concern for my appearance and grooming.
