So far I have used your video to install a recovery on two computers with no issues once so ever. Thanks for such a clean and concise video that's step by step. Most of the articles I have read online want you to use other utilities to install the recovery and from what I can tell your guide is much simpler and easier to do.

I just want to say you saved my computers life. I don't know how but I am so grateful. I was getting no were fast. I appreciate you so much. If I had money I would give it to you. But the point was I didn't and would have quickly went to the cpu doctor if I did. Who knows how much I would have had to pay. My daughter is grateful it's her computer and she wrote in all the codes, so she helped fix it. Thanks again

    I'd like to thank you.
I've been trying to install windows 7 by usb on a notebook with a cache SSD as Disk 0, and a hard drive as Disk 1. Whenever I try to install it in a partition of Disk 1, it creates a system recovery partition on the cache SSD, leaving it unbootable. After trying several solutions, through 2 entire days, installing W7 by your solution worked out for me.
    Thank you.

May I add something... When migrating from Xp to Windows 7 on a Clean Install and you have issues Windows 7 not starting up after doing all the work above... at 10:38 in the vid before typing exit you do this...
    >diskpart
    >bootrec /fixmbr
    >bootrect /fixboot
    >bootrec /rebuildbcd
This should fix your boot manager issues. This only for a migration from XP directly to Windows 7.

Tell me how to do that, instead of selecting the menu
    download windose / recovery systems
after turning on the computer. System Restore start on a specified key (key).
For example: When the laptop, press 9 - Start a recovery partition.

Dude, did you redo this tut? I remember you posted only the coms in the desc. and you used the letter E for the DVD-ROM volume . Heh. This vid ROCKS \m/ . I had to figure out how to delete the letters when there are multiple volumes listed and the C & D & E (or in this case the F) letters are taken. This song makes me want to fix 10,000 computers. jk.. im getting carried away. I like how to you tell people to buy a Win7 copy but come on, not everyone has the cash to dish out that kind of cash.

Do a search. You can download the isos to make a windows 7 disk. Those are free and freely available, and that is not piracy. What windows charges for is the activation license. Since you are recovering from your own data you don't need that.

Should partition 2 be set to 20GB regardless of whether it will be used as the main hard drive space? I can see if you'd want to install Windows on one partition and the bulk of the drive for documents and program files, but what if you want it all on one partition? I guess you could extend the 20GB partition after the install to fill the remaining unallocated space on the drive.

How can you assign a drive letter by the drive type?
EX: I have a Type = DVD-ROM and I want it to always assign the letter D
    to that drive.
EX 2: I have Types CD-ROM & DVD-ROM and I want it to always assign
the letter M & D to that drive.
The purpose it to be able to make a diskpart script that will assign a
set drive letter by type allowing me to create a recovery partition, but
the system could have 0 disc drives or 3 disc drives. This is why im
trying to set the drive letter by Type instead of volume number. If a
system has no disc drives, then the volume 0 will be the HDD, but if it
has 1 disc drive, the HDD will be volume 1. But assigning the letters by
type will make the script universal
