- I do enjoy cheese and onions on my burgers so I wonder what having them inside is like...

Lidls Jalapeños n cheese burgers... are beaut... thanks
Ok thanks for the heads up Karl
I've had these myself and i agree pap i couldn't taste any cheese or onion ethier. The Asda extra special Aberdeen angus quarter pounders are full of flavour and are great with a slice of chedder cheese melted on top
Good to know James, and thanks for the heads up
Very lidl deluxe there paps by the looks of things and as you know, a burger is best adding cheese and onion separately. These things need to be tried because the occasional gem is waiting to be found. For now, I will stick with lidl 5% mince for my burgers and the occasional Frikadelin which is an awesome product for taste and waistline expansion.
You gave me yet another laugh with that comment Uncle, and the Frikadelin are superb :)
Another excellent appraisal of this product from Lidl - we had them a while back and we were both underwhelmed by them through the lack of seasoning and flavour ! as you say there are better ones out there and there are a lot worse ! if you go to Aldi try their Ginger ,Honey and Garlic Pork Burgers ! I have reviewed them this morning and they are excellent - have the best Wednesday mate :-)
Thanks for the heads up regarding the burgers mate, I'll have a look for some...
Oh i love burgers,oh i will be trying those,x titivate may be needed
Titivate at will Miss Dream :)
Supermarkets are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for any kind of gimmick these days. Good to see Ludwig and Wolfey are getting on though!
Indeed Wolfy took top spot today Milos :)
We tend to agree on a lot of food but we'll have to agree to disagree on this one mate. I absolutely love these burgers, meaty, cheesy, well seasoned, great taste and definitely deluxe in my opinion. And they haven't gone up in price since I reviewed them!
Great to hear that you enjoyed yours so much mate. I'm on about doing a crisp sarnie in the future and if I do, you'll be mentioned for sure :)
@@Papparoni cheers, I can't wait to see what you come up with 👍
Omg Aldi sells the exact same under the specially selected range. I had the Aldi burgers recently, and i bet if i tried those they would be the same flavour wise.
Aldi probably taste better to be fair as I find Lidl meat a bit on the "average" side
It'd be interesting to compare the ingredients for sure :)
@@ninjabluewings Yep that's true 😊
Now I like the sound of this! / Ha - cool playing a joyful tune ! / Ahh got a nice squeak ! / Oh yes (ish) - not bad but not that exciting overall ? / Mark.
The squeak factor was far better than the taste factor mate :)
@1:27 Squeakburger
Hahaa!
Your scores 👏 always spot on Papp
Cheers Stephen :)
This content rivals Ben Deen! best of luck Papi !!!! :]
Many thanks Zekun!
Evening, Papp. The frozen burgers that I remember having as a kid (70s/80s) always had onion in them - probably added as bulk, as well as for flavour. Who knows what else was in them?!😱
I'd rather have two of those four-for-a-pound Iceland burgers that you reviewed, recently, than these.
And really must try to get hold of that ketchup you recommend...✌
The tiny birds eye burgers in the yellow box have got the grated or powdered onion in them.. I actually like those ones all thought you need like 4 off them too fill you up but yh some chips n beans I'm happy ...👍
Cheers Mat. I can only hope that these burgers are better for us over the four for a quid ones, who knows. As for the ketchup, good luck wih that, hard to find..
I had some of these a while back and although they were OK they stunk the house out something rotten for days afterwards !
Always a pain when that happens eh Geoff!
There's that word again 'Deluxe' being used for faulce advertising. Where's the cheese and onion flavour?
Probably in the cooking juices left behind. That's what a slice of bread is for, to soak up those juices and either pan or airfry.
If you ever cook a readymade chicken Kiev, halfway through the cooking process place a slice of bread under it to make garlic bread from the oozing garlic butter.
Better luck next time you review something 'Deluxe'
Cheers John 👍🤤😀
Mate your garlic bread idea is one of the best I've heard, cheers :)
I wonder if Beethoven had a BBQ with cheese 🧀🧀🧀🧀 and why is he always angry.
The amount of notes that need to come out of his brain would make anyone angry Wayne :)
I had that feeling that this was going to be lacking the cheese and onion flavours Pap despite it being from their deluxe range, these products are all getting far too predictable now!
I couldn't have put it better myself Mr Atkinson :)
Was never a big fan of these burgers at Lidl, I feel cheese and onion should be separate entities in a burger but still cooperating for that delicious taste in a bite, not conjoined like a bizarro burger mutant.
Also, tortilla burgers? Something could going on here, I think there is some potential in that....
The Mutant Burger is a good name for a product :)
Burger in a tortilla!? that is proper bachelor food Pap😁
Isn't it just mate; juicy, meaty action ;)
Cheers papp i avoid those then..Lidle had the Wagyu beef burgers the other day its not gonna be real wagyu beef obviously but they were nice deffo a diff flavour too em... 6 for £6 bit pricey but a good size n flavour i think a quid for a decent beef burger is about right aint it £1.30 that sorta cost...is crazy when consider its £6/7 for a burger from a fast food place i made a smash wagyu burger with gherkins salad cheese 2 pattys toasted the inside the buns n yh thst cost me about £1.30 id say.. few chips with it n i was full but i bought 2 burgers from mcdonalds last week on a hangover i got big mac burger with extra everything littaraly and i got quarter pounder and chips and i pigged the whole lot in one sitting which is not like me i nibble at food usually.. but not kidding i was hungry still..after the last chip got crunched 2 burgers and chips and i stood up n went straight too the fridge...the Jamaican tobbaco i smoked may off had something too do with it but that would be pure speculation on my part 😂.. but that maccy D food really cant be real food lol...👍👍👍
I eat Maccys food about once a year when I hate myself, as for Jamaican baccy, that's a lot more often ;)
Hi Papps... ocd for me... should of cut it at an angle....😢
We all have our ways Karl :)
Nice one Pap, I much prefer burgers without anything added, can't stand the ones with added onion, I keep burping it up.
Indeed Martin onions can do that!
That's a shame Papp... I've genuinely given up on finding top quality Beef Burgers these days my friend... As I've said before pal... I'd much rather buy myself a pack of five German Frikadellens instead... It's the same with Sausages... You can never find a top quality one these days either... I was even going back to some of your older videos Papp... Just in case i'd missed something... And after looking at those Harry Ramsden's Jumbo Pork Sausages you reviewed a few years ago... I wondered if there was anything similar but with an even better quality... And i think i might just have found it mate... At Asda... They've got a 1Kg pack of their... Asda 14 Flavourful Jumbo Pork Sausages 1kg for £4.40... So I've ordered a pack of them to try... Fingers crossed that their five star reviews online... Are indeed correct... 🤞 I'll let you know if they live up to the hype pal... Anyway Papp... Many thanks for the review... It's very much appreciated my friend... All the very best... Cheers mate. 🍺
Best of luck with those things chap, I look forward to hearing your opinion :)
@@Papparoni No worries Papp... Will do. 👍
(39) I just like a decent ground meat patty well seasoned with salt and pepper. Or, I make a meatloaf. Those patties strike me as neither. What a bummer for you, Papparoni. Bet if you offered that to Catteroni he'd bell the RSPCA and dob you in for animal abuse.
I'm now thinking meatloaf cut into burger slices :) As for Cattaroni, she idientifies as a female! :D
@@Papparoni Ooops; tell Catteroni I'm sorry.
She's cool :)
😂😂😂😂😂😂
As a former butcher I know 35% of that 70% beef is eyelids, an*s and all the other unmentionable parts of the animal but atleast I made my burgers with love?
Good to know Edward as I assumed being deluxe they would've used better cuts.
If anything they looked TOO frozen imo. Crystallised cheese if anything. I would have shat that straight out
To coin a phrase!
That's not bad for that money these days I suppose, 😮
Shocking that we think that eh Malcolm!
Whenever a product says deluxe I cringe because most times it's a bog standard product for more money 💰
This is true Sean :)
haha squeaky, sound like you had a live mouse in that one Papparoni :)
Indeed Skorpion, tasty liittle thing!
They look nice but again they shrunk down to nowt lol
I've seen smaller!
@@Papparoni yes I guess I have too 👍
Nothing deluxe about these burgers Papps, interesting to note though is the “natural flavourings”, I worked in a food ingredient manufacturers for two years and I can assure you there is nothing natural with these flavourings, chemical liquids in stainless steel bottles with label identification names I couldn’t even pronounce, also warning symbols like danger to aquatic life,(dead fish)and the dead tree symbol amongst others.even though it had natural on the label,I felt somewhat lied to.anyway,I hope you enjoy the rest of those bland greasy Frankenstein burgers, meanwhile I’m sticking to making my own,👍
Absolutely fantastic inside information right there Mark, I can't thank you enough.
@@Papparoni I only eat ready salted crisps now,🧐 used to love barbecue beef etc but now… nah
