I use a lot of things on my hair so I can’t say for sure which one product gave me results... I bet they all contributed to my hair retaining length.
The main difference is that I was taking much better care of my hair this year!
    - I realized that I have High Porosity Hair
    - I added a prepoo to prevent hygral fatigue
(I learned about those two factors on your channel!)
    - I moisturize more often and I seal in the moisture (with good ‘ol grease)
    - I added protein to my hair regimen
    - I took note of what methods made my hair feel better and stronger
    - I only use a comb or brush on wash day
    - I know that Patience is a Virtue when it comes to seeing results
My hair was always growing, but now I’m also retaining length so I can’t wait to see how healthy my hair will be this time next year!

I always use castor oil as my carrier oil. I put rosemary and peppermint essential oils in the castor oil. It works very well! It's cheaper to just buy a bottle of castor oil and separate bottles of peppermint and rosemary essential oils aand then mix it yourself. I do a mix of around 5:1 or 5 parts carrier oil (castor oil for me) to one part rosemary/peppermint oils.

Not sure if there's science to support my theory, but I think you can develop a tolerance. I usually put 20 to 30 drops per 4 oz because my mother put essential oils on my scalp as a child. I can even put tea tree directly on my scalp with zero problems but I don't recommend that cuz the scent is overpowering. That being said, always do a test behind your ear, if you can stand more tingle do two more drops, etc. Just use your judgement.

Due to the fact that Jojoba is closer than any other oil to the sebum that our scalp produces.
