    The craziest thing I ever put on my scalp is I pricked open 2-3 beta carotene capsules and put the contents in my grape seed oil and applied it to my scalp. End result... orangey/yellow scalp 🤣 Next.. I rinsed my egg hair mask with HOT water.. Results.. scrambled eggs 🙃

    Great information. Listen well ladies and gents. Serums at night. Terpenes function (essential oils) Rosemary Eucalyptus, Tea Tree etc loosen the hydrogen bonds and seeps into the hair below the surface. Check the position of the ingredients are in the ingredient list. Carrier oils facilitate protecting the hair, not penetrating. Remember they are the vehicle that carry the essential oils that are efficacious in the hairs growth and protection.

    Great Video! I just wanted to add that if you are using essential oils in any application whether it is oil base or water base it should be no more than 1%. the essentials oils are extremely potent and concentrated that a little will act as an active ingredient...most times ingredients at the bottom means very little effectiveness. but alot of ingredients can be low % but is an active ingredients and are very potent...they will do what they are supposed to do even though they are low % because of the potency...just thought I share that tidbit with you. Also extracts can have more of the essential oils % but they are distilled or steamed differently in which they can have an higher percentage and that way it wont cause irritation on the person using it...

      Laundry detergent is very harsh and can cause severe skin irritations and damage to your hair and scalp. You can possibly end up at the dermatologist office over time. Try using pure essential oils like Rosemary, Peppermint, or Lavender with distilled water on your scalp and hair to remove the relaxer. It's natural and healthier for your hair. Rosemary and Peppermint stimulates the blood in your scalp so your hair will grow back longer and healthier. It will also keep your scalp clean.

    Lovvvve your videos!!! I’ve learned so much! I do have a question regarding moisture vs hydration. When someone with high porosity, medium density, medium thickness is experiencing extremely dry scalp, how can you help that? And even when you clarify, protein treatment, deep condition, when/do you incorporate a hot oil treatment and if so which step in the wash day process do you add that in?

    Monistat is good on the scalp for dandruff and cradle cap. It's all the same fungus. The craziest thing I've done to my hair is substitute saladdressing for a hair mask when I didn't have mayo. That with eggs matted my hair something fierce. I could barely get a comb thru it. Took me about two hrs to wash it all out. Don't know if it was the water or my tears that finally got it clean 😆

    You know I started using hair serums and the hair is growing but just a serum twice a week. I have used vegamour, nutrafoil, ordinary, ginger tea serum. All of them have helped. But the surprising thing is my scalp never itches, I also do not have Dandruff issues anymore at all. No matter how long I go without washing. And I can go three weeks, no washing with little breakage and no dandruff when I use serums twice a week. I might sprits my hair with rosewater or use a leave in, or grees eor Shea butter. But I did all that before. but the real changer for my scalp has been serums.

      It’s a trend, and an illogical one at that. Those jumping on the oil-free bandwagon are probably going to experience more dryness, see more damage, and have either a plateau or reversal of length retention over time.

      @hereforit2347 3 ปีที่แล้ว +24

      @@janek.3347: I began my journey as a last ditch effort to see if I could really grow my hair long. Before that, I would use an oil-based cream on my ends only once after shampooing and conditioning. At the time, I usually wore my hair natural and got it flat ironed every two or three months. When it wasn’t straightened, I styled it with water and gel every day. But my length was at a plateau. Even when I wasn’t going to the salon at all I still wasn’t retaining much length. One of the first changes I made aside from minimizing heat was oiling my hair, especially my ends, first twice, then three times a week, then every day. I immediately noticed a difference in length retention. It’s not so much the scalp that needs oil, it’s the strands. Especially your ends. Pampering your ends will make a world of difference.
