Talk about overrated...only won one SB with the 85 bears and the defense is why they won...that picture at the end him and Buddy on the players shoulders. He couldnt even call that SB win on his own 🤣

Buddy Ryan saying that another coach didn’t prepare his team well in such a joke.Ryan and had a talented if not the most talented defense ever and Exceptional quarterback and never got team to one Super Bowl. That’s not being prepared.
Destroyed??? Took over a terrible Eagles team and they were very competitive. Jimmy couldn't win when he took over a subpar Dolphins team. Your logic is embarrassing and hypocrisy. Houston defense was excellent when he was coordinator. It was funny, but he was dead wrong for punching the offensive coordinator. The Cardinals were horrible and remained so for decades.
@@all_time_Jelly_Fish everybody beated the cowboys back then. when they were rebuilding, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, buddy went to Arizona and he was 0-4 against Dallas. I'm not a cowboys fan I just look at reality. The Bounty Bowl was not actually seen on TV in Dallas and several nearby markets. Texas Stadium failed to sell out, causing the blackout rule to go into effect. Yes, even teams as popular as the Cowboys have been victimized by the blackout rule. In the fist three years of the 1973 rule, the Cowboys had a total of only four sellouts, none at all in 1974. They were able to sell out all but two games in '76 and and '77. From 1978-86, the Cowboys had only 7 blackouts, a period which included 5 blackout-free seasons. The Bounty Bowl took place in the dark ages of attendance at Texas Stadium, coinciding with the on-field struggles of the Cowboys. From 1987-90, only eight games at Texas Stadium sold out. After that there have been no blackouts of Cowboys home games, but a handful of road games failed to sell out for their opponents from 1991-2002, most commonly Cardinals games at Sun Devil Stadium, which the Cardinals only sold out 14 times in 18 seasons.
Irv Cross is just slightly naive if he thinks there was no bounty. Oh no, but it's the big play award. Yeah right, Irv. Call it what you want just to defend your precious eagles.
In the end, Buddy never got his Super Bowl as a head coach hell never even got a playoff win. In the end Parcells was able to get 2 over Buddy. Jimmy got 2 even though Jimmy never beat Buddy. The best part is that when Buddy became coach of the Cardinals, the Cowboys had already won 2 Super Bowls and had that talent. Buddy had a bunch of his old retreads and no QB to beat the Cowboys. They only had one game in 94 in Arizona where the game was close, but in the end the Cowboys pulled it out. Other than that, the Cowboys would beat down on Buddy and the Cardinals.
Actually Irv... Seth Joyner confirmed they did indeed have a bounty on Aikman and Zendajas. Might want to know what you're talking about before you speak Irv...
The Great Buddy Ryan when coaching the Philadelphia Eagles in the mid to late 80s just played very dirty putting bounties on his opponent always being a poor sportsman at games end

Where has all the personality gone from nfl coaches? Man this was awesome, from all three guys!
He called me fat. I thought I was looking pretty good.
Ditka,Johnson, and Bill Walsh great NFL coaches who have combined for 6 super bowl wins to Ryan's 0! All had beefs with him!
What about Kevin Gilbride?

Buddy NEVER won a game with Reggie White and the other talent.
Skins, Niners, Giants, Bears all better than Phila
Others were better
This aged well. Johnson won rings Buddy destroyed Philly, Houston, and Arizona.

Talk about comments from Buddy Ryan that didn’t age well.
If this happened today the players would be lawyered up and they’d be accused to toxic masculinity.

In Ariz, Ryan was laughing at his own players being injured in training camp.
