Hey Antara hope you read this. You had put a video on your channel regarding playback a month ago. I did reply but I think you didn't read it. As my intent is to help all the artists along with you sending you the same comment here:-
I have no hands on report or haven't seen anyone really close to me in playbacks.
1. You need to have something unique, you can't have the same technique of singing as some famous singer in the industry.
2. Sometimes reality shows will push you forward.
3. If you look back at Arijit's career, he wasn't the most successful singer in reality shows. He literally approached the bollywood music composers, directors and arrangers. You have to work in music production. You have to play some instruments. Create bonding with directors. So you should approach the directors. Ofcourse you might not get easy chances. But if you are persistent and talented enough. Then you might get a chance. Work hard and take involvement in the music production itself. The basic thing is you need to contact some directors office numbers, take appointments, prove yourself not only singing but also instrumentally as well, then make dummy versions(they are versions which gives the original singers a tune, scale and melody to support). You need to be polite and you should grab any small opportunity. Finally you are bound to playback. But you really need talent. Best of luck...:)
