    That olympic pressure is DIFFERENT. Look at Sha'Carri in her semi and final. Her entire demeanor changed. No jumping, no showboating, no dancing. Running 9.77 when it doesn't matter is easier than running 9.8 with a medal on the line.

    • @user-oq7ji2rx4l
      @user-oq7ji2rx4l หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @supablackdynamo. Do you know what happened to Sha"Carri and Shelly before they finally entered the warmup area??? It wasn't "pressure" that caused Sha'Carri to underperform. It was the fact that she probably didnt warm up before the race and she knew that she wouldn't be at her best. There is a reason the warm up for about an hour or more before races. Not warming up properly will always make you not perform at your best.

    • @supablackdynamo
      @supablackdynamo หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@user-oq7ji2rx4l The problem with that excuse is twofold. One, the athletes themselves didn't come out and say it was a problem. And two, the mixup was before the semis, not the finals. If Sha'Carri ran 10.71 in the semis with a less than optimal warmup, why would she run worse in the finals? Her reaction to the gun in the finals is what doomed her. Alfred is the 60 m indoor world champ. She tried playing catch up once again and it didn't work.
