This new song is so good! I'm so happy that they chose to give the Squid Sisters a different performance for the second half instead of them just performing City of Color the whole time.

My gosh, it feels like it's been forever since we had a new Squid Sisters song, and it being a slatfest one makes me absolutely ecstatic!! Splatoon 1 was my childhood, and seeing it get so much recognition makes my heart smile! The Squid Sisters will forever remain the best idol duo ever!

I adore how the intro/chorus mixes in the City of Color motif! The use of recycled leitmotifs in here are brilliant! It has brought many people loads of nostalgia. And boy, the choreography is amazing! Yet another one for me to learn! THE SQUID SISTERS ARE BAAAAAACK!!

It would allow for updated versions of the Splatoon 1 campaign with newer graphics + models as well as bring back the original specials! But that’s probably never gonna happen unless they have a Splatoon 1 remake sometime down the line lol

A absolutely love how the switch’s updated graphics from the WiiU allowed for them to look and move so beautifully! The lighting in this video is great, the textures on their dresses is beautiful, and I love the subtle ways their ears jiggle and Callie’s head pice bounces when she moves! Also their new choreography is truly stellar. Good job on this one, Nintendo

I don’t know if any other splatoon 1 veteran notices but the beat and music is very very similar to maritime memory. If you listen closely and listened to maritime memory a lot. Of course not exact but they definitely took some notes in order to make this song be filled with nostalgia!
