I played the beta if a game that's studio went bankrupt 2 weeks after starting (game was called Second Wave), and I got similar vibes from Deadlock. After watching this, it does look like it has neat ideas. I just don't like shooters, so I hope the MOBA elements are more prominent
The Verge reporter was doing their job. There wasn't an NDA or formal agreement for them to follow so they reported on what was happening in gaming. His job isn't pr for valve, his job is to report on news. This was news

I also didn't say he was PR for Valve, I said it was a shit move which it was. Maybe the question should have been "just because I could does it mean I should?" It definitely felt more like a MOBA than a shooter (at least to me 🤔), but I'm hoping they ramp up the MOBA elements even more as development goes on!
