- When I started flight training, my press release that described success was flying over the mountains and landing in Aspen. On this flight I achieved my goal! We got some nice views of the continental divide, Keystone, Breckenridge and Lake Dillon. ATC had us make a tight circle over the city of Aspen with mountains all around us which made the approach extra spicy.
That was wild!
Great landing! Im training for my LSP in Oregon and flying inside of the mountains can be intimidating but I love it.
Pretty cool! Thanks for sharing this. Your instructor makes wearing O2 look 😎 lol
Glad you guys landed safe. I was puckered just watching this!
Thanks - I was glad to have my instructor with me!
Very nice I’m learning in a sr20 you did great
So fun!
Cool approach!
Thanks it was exciting!
VERY unusual to land on RWY 33 - fun trip for sure.
To be honest I was a little disappointed that I couldn't do the 15 approach I have done many times in sim, but it was an exciting approach hugging the mountains. There's always next time.
I’d love to connect with you ! I’m 53 my son is apparently the same age as yours and I’m trying to do my ppl in a cirrus. I’d love to get your insights / advice. Not sure how to connect with you tho as no email on the channel. - Charles
I took a guess at your gmail address based on your TH-cam ID and sent an email. If it’s you, reply and we can connect.
OK, well my email address guess did not work. I created a temporary email address. Contact me at 4895.4152.3714@hey.com and then I’ll reply with my personal email. The temporary address will be good for 2 weeks.
