Morton and Wendy was infront of me in the final stretch, Morten hit Wendy with a green shell, so now im second. WIth Morton clearly 5 feet infront of me on my screen, i somehow got first still. He was also drifting like crazy but i dont know if that had to do anything with..

Finn Silver 16 Because of the way that dragged item hits work in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (I don't know about the Wii U version), with the person dragging the item having to make the item hit other players on their screen, rather than have other players hit it on their own screen, lag trailing occurs when you obviously didn't touch any items, but that item affects you anyway, due to this. Hopefully that made some sense and helped you, but if you're still confused, Mankalor made a video 'If I get lag-trailed, the video ends,' where he also explains the concept, probably with more sense than I just did! 🙂
